The two women in the life of Forrest Gump----the film review on the film “Forrest Gump”Forrest Gump, the movie which I have watched for three times, is a film that surprised and moved me so much .It was based on the novel of Winston Groom while the hero is a famous actor―Tom Hanks. He performed so well all through the film that I enjoyed the warm human nature, the inspiration of belief and other virtues through any scene in it.The female, a kind of role, is very essential in the film as it acts in the real society .As the Chinese saying goes, women hold up half the sky. In the life o f Forrest Gump, there are two women―one is his great mother, the other is his lifelong lover, Jenny. They accounted for Forrest’s whole life.At the beginning of the film, Mrs. Gump, Forrest’s mother, impressed me much .I think Forrest with an IQ of 75 was so lucky to own such a strong-minded and smart mother. She and her Forrest lived in Greenbow, Alabama, all on their own. She told Forrest he was no different than anybody else was though he braced his legs. Under her philosophical words, “life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are goingto get”, Forrest achieved marvelous success in his life step by step such as entering college, being awarded the Congressional medal of honour, being a gozillionaire and so on. She was just like any mother to love Forrest from the bottom of her heart and inspire him any time. In turn she was also proud of Forrest with happy smile in his college graduation ceremony and when he was awarded as a Vietnam War hero. Unfortunately, she was sick with a cancer and died on a Tuesday. At the end of her life, she still teached her son to accept death as a part of life and to pursue his own destiny. Though keeping far away in the heaven finally, I think this mother would still look at and bless her son.Jenny wa s Forrest’s lifelong lover. They met each other in the school bus. In the film Jenny did many bad things to Forrest. From their childhood right on up Jenny and Forrest were good friends .They came to school together and grew with each other’s accompany. Fi nally though they stayed far away from each other, Forrest。

He proved himself with his determination , courage and love .In the film , Gump is almost a representative of all the virtues : honesty and trustworthiness , serious work , courage fearle ss . But Jennifer , Gump’s best friend , is a symbol of degradation , She has been infected with almost all of the bad habits . But Gump always loved her . This also reflects his innocence and goodness .Gump’s mother was a vivid character who was always philosophical and considerate . I still remember her words :“Life was like a box of chocolates , you never know what you are gonna get”. I consider that this means everyday is a mystery , you never know what the next day is , happy or sad , but you are supposed to be optimistic to everyday. At the end of the film it reads :“But I tell you , friends , Sometimes at night , I look up to the stars ,then see the whole sky on the laid there , I do not think I remember nothing . Time is always circulating ruthlessly , it urged us not to let too much time fly under thinking .Film review---《Forrest Gump》Forrest Gump, an inspirational movie, a touching story. At the beginning of the film using the technique which tell the story, composed of a feather, it fly in the wind, across thecar, landed on someone's shoulder and gives the final stop in Forrest Gump feet, was he came into the book. The film begins...Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can't be successful in doing anything. But, instead, this unlucky man has achieved lots of incredible success; he is a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire! Running forward is a kind of spirit, in the face of fate, he never worry about their own IQ only 75, he has done, focus, just do the best he can do. This is also we must learn from him, we should do things to look forward and focus on the things we can do, rather than put it in our ability's reach. Only in this way can we accomplish more. And we have too much advantage for Forrest Gump, thus we should be more easily than his achievement. This is a great, successful movie, it is worst to watch. We should learn Forrest Gump’s optimistic life attitude. We should try us best to do everything we can do, it’s enough. After watching the movie, as we can see ,the film shows kindness, thankness and honest. Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem. In all his childhood ,otherboys look down upon him and often laugh at him.but his mother regards him as a normal child and tells him that he is the same as the other boys. on the contrary ,he leads his life in his own ways and never complains anything and never gives up. because of this,he gets surprising upshots every time。

The review of Forrest GumpForrest Gump tells a legend of a boy whose IQ has only 75.The film begins with a feather floating in the air and wind, also ends in this feather. He experienced a variety of obstruct, finally quiet lying on the ground. Gump is an idiot, but he is really honest , kindhearted and brave, and it is one step at a time to step out of his own the miracle. As Gump’s mum said,” Life is like a box of chocolate, open before you don’t know what you will get.”Gump’s success comes from his own efforts and from his unique quality and conviction of the heart.”Stupid people do stupid thing , you don’t think you are stupid”, Gump’s mum told him .He also remember his mother’s said.In addition, it is hard to find that Gump influenced the people around him unconsciously. What is fate? Perhaps no one can give a correct answer, we can do that is just trying to take control of your own way. No matter this way is full of thorns or smooth and shine, this way belongs to us. Let’s look back at this road yourself out of the way, and we can say proudly:”Look, it is the way I walked, how beautiful it is!”In Forrest Gump, Gump has experienced many historical events inadvertently, for example, Elvis Presley, Alabama black entrance, the event is assassination of President John F Kennedy, Ping-pong diplomacy between China and America and so on. He also became the exposure of the Watergate Scandal. This unique perspective reflects some problem of society, like racial discrimination, the dark of force , terrorists, disease, etc., it lets the audience feel Gump’s wonderful life and let them see the cruelty of the society at the same time. We have to admire the superb art of film with a clever technique after I watched many times with the a feeling.Person’s life is long or short. Life isn’t always happy and satisfied with you, which can’t avoid some hard and some twists and turns, using common heart faces them and accepts them, because they are a part of life. Just like Gump’s mum told Gump in dying,”Death is a part of life.”We must live seriously, work hard, love people and be loved and seriously alive.。

I don‟t know if we each have a destiny or if we‟re all just floating around accidental-like
LOVE
“I‟m not a smart man, but I know what love is。” Love is film‟s eternal theme .We give our tears and laughter generously. The love in this film is a process which a man with low IQ speaks out “love”.I think that Forrest doesn‟t only say to Jenny, but also say to his mother and Buba. Because the love realized by Forrest includes maath of his mother and many times Jenny‟s disappearance let Forrest know what love is .In fact, no matter whether Jenny love Forrest, Forrest gets love and we get love from this film.
2. Racialism
• Racialism has a long history in America. In the movie, generations of Bubba‟s families cook shrimps for the white. They black people are servants. What Gump does change this, and heal the mental hurt of black American. He becomes the best friend of Bubba, and after he made a good fortune from shrimp business, he gives Bubba‟s mother a large sum of money. Ever since, humouredly, Bubba‟s mother hires the white people cook shrimps for her.

Life is like a box of chocolates-----The review of Forrest GumpName: 金香 Class:博士2班 Student number:2015020204 Forrest G ump is a famous film which won a high reputation , it’s tell us a story of a low IQ boy’s unexpected and legendary life. In the film, Forrest’s IQ only had 75 lower than normal people, but he graduated from the university, participated in the Vietnam War, took part in Table Tennis Competition in China as diplomatic envoy, became a millionaire...There is argument about this movie: Some audience think that if we all live like Forrest Gump who lives without goal, then we will go nowhere. But in my opinion, the most important thing in our life is focus on one thing that you like in every period of life, then the success will “take off pants for you”(“Three Idiots”, an Indian movie). If the so called “success”does n’t happen, we will not regret, at least you are doing what you like. Let’s talk about the movie.Forrest Gump is unfortunately to be born with a low IQ and muscl e problem. Generally speaking by most people, this kind of person could n’t be successful in doing anything. However ,he comes very successful t hrough his struggling. What he narrates reflect the social changes. Many important events and people of American from the 1950s to the 197 0s are shown fluently in his description of his life experience. So the fil m was passed to a intellectual disturbance person the description of lifehas reflected every aspect of U.S.A.’s life, important incident of soci al political life make and represent to these decades such as U.S.A. fro m one unique angle. Film adapt Winston novel of the same name of Gr oom since.“If God intended everybody to be the same, he'd have given us all braces on our legs. “God is so fair. Forrest met lots of accidents and every accident fortunately achieve him. I think nothing is predestined except death. Just like Gump's mother did not know that she will be his mother, just like Forrest did not know that God gave him only 75 IQ, just like Lt. Dan Taylor did not know he had to endure the pain of losing legs...His mother had been playing a very important role in his life. when he sat on the bench on the side of the road, talking with the strange rs, he would often start his theory with “ my mother said……”My mother said “Life is like a box of chocolates, Forrest, you neve r know what you are going to get.”My mother said” Don’t you be afraid sweet heart. Death is just a part of life. Something we are destined to do”Gump’s mother is a clever woman. She can earn enough money to support her one parent family. She is also optimistic. She never feels a shamed of her son. She is proud of her son. She never thinks Forrest i s a fool. She wants her son can lead a life as an ordinary person. In order to let him study into school, she has sex with the headmaster. Sh e is also intelligent. Every night she reads some books for Forrest and tells some simple truths to him. Gump was an extra docile child and he had kept all his mother words. He said apple head had his own ways o f dealing with all kinds of things in life. Gump actually didn’t have muc h ambition and he also lost many valuable things. But he didn’t aband on himself to desperation. His love eternally continued. He already had a small Gump after all. So although he was not smart, he knew how t o keep life hopeful and dynamic.Tom Hanks who played Forrest Gump said “our destiny is only defined by how we deal with the chance element to our life.” When we face our life, maybe we should have this preparation---“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're going to get.”when we say that Forrest Gump is a lucky guy. I think most of yo u may think that he is so lucky to escape much trouble , but the “luc k” is that he is so lucky to have such a good mother by my means. Gu mp has his own perseverance, keeping on running without of any reason, JUST RUNS. He said: “Man has look forward, and never encumbered by foretime. I think that's the meaning of my running.” Say goodbye t o foretime and don't stay in-place. Although so many people in the wo rld are used to follow others and few people can stick to one thing, Gu mp does and becomes “GOD”。
Summary of Forrest Gump(阿甘正传英文影评)
Summary of Forrest GumpForrest Gump is the best film that I have ever seen. The world is totally another look in his eyes and I have found that Gump is so simple and lovely.“Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you are going to get.”The words of Gump’s mother illustrates to us that everyone has his life and it is unique.Gump just followed her words and steped out of his own life which is full of miracles. From going to special schools with 75 IQ points to becoming a football athletes, then the Vietnam war hero, the shrimp boat captain,to go around us......Forrest Gump achieved a height that maybe many intelligent people could hardly achieve throughout their lifetime.Although Gump was born retarded, honesty、kindness、braveness、sincerity、pureness、royalty、dedicateness、strong will and so on so many virtues shine on him. There is always only one kind of love to support his life ,that is the love of his mother. There is only a girl he loved in his life , that is his first love Jenny. He could make a career of the shrimp industry which He isn’t familiar with, just because of a word from his dead comrades Babba......In every stage of his life, there is only one goal in Gump’s heart to guide himself. And he works for it confirmedly and insistently until the completion of this goal,or the emergence of a new goal.Without distractions in his mind Gump feel at ease.I have been moved to teers by the film so many times. When Gump cried in the arms of his mother before he left America for V ietnam,I just can’t imagine how he is sad and reluctant. When Gump rushed to Jenny and hugged her in the water,I did feel happy but I could not hold my teers fall down .When Gump went back to the battlefield again and again to rescue Babba,I thought I knew what the friendship is at that time. When Gump comforted and inspired Lt.Dan Taylor,I appreciated his kindness so much. And when Gump sent the little Gump to the school bus,I saw a father with love so warm like sunshine......You must fall for Forrest Gump if you watch the film.Surely the film is also worth watching.People’s life is often so ,just like the piece of feather floating in the wind which is appear at the opening and the end of the film.。
Film Review of “Forrest Gump”
Film Review of “Forrest Gump”3100701045 冶金1002 董伟After watching the film, Forrest Gump, my roommate said to himself that stupid is as stupid does. As for me, l ife was like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get, which explains to me th at every man’s life is the only one. Forrest just listened to such teachings, worked steadily and created the miracle of life on his own. Under the blue sky, a light and feather drop from the clouds, slowly landed at Forrest’s feet. It gives me a lot of thinking. There are something wrong with the young Forrest’ IQ and legs. Often after school, their peers will laugh Forrest, making fun of him in the road. Just as his mother prayed for him, miracles happen every day. Gradually, iron shelves won’t bound him and he ran swiftly finally when Jenny was shouting loudly. With amazing speed, Forrest entered the NFL team, then went to university and participated in the Vietnam War. Everything is like a dream and Forrest has been struggling, continuing to move forward, simply and rigidly. Forrest's every act and every move perhaps are full of making a fool of himself, but his faith is so simple and the goal is clear. Even if be congenitally deficient, even before there are barren hills and turbulent rivers, Forrest is just running without any hesitation. Running down the road in life, Forrest wrote a string of successful notes. There is only one kind of love to sustain him in life that is Mother’s love. There is only one kind of love to involve himself in that is love for Jenny. He is a man of his word. He can be in order to commemorate the dead Comrade Babur, and do the business what he is not familiar with. A promise is a promise. Forrest was shaped the embodiment of virtue, honest and trustworthy in the film. Forrest is a macho man who never minds others’ refusing and he is open-minded and magnanimous in the face of life. It’s my time. It's just my time. Death is just a part of life, something we're all destined to do.。
Forrest Gump
Forrest Gump
• Mr. Gump is a man who is short in intelligence, because his IQ is 75. It is impossible for us to guess what achievements he could fulfill. We can not even imagine whether a man regarded as ‘stupid’ can experience so many amazing events and survive, but the fact is that he not only survives, but gain a great deal of unexpected fame and success.
• The deep impression that the movie give us is that he just keep running all the time. Mr. Gump has run into the university, the White House and even whole continents.
The Vietnam War
• The Vietnam War, also known as the Second Indochina War, and known in Vietnam as Resistance War Against America was a Cold War-era proxy war(代理战争) that occurred in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia from 1 November 1955 to the fall of Saigon on 30 April 1975. This war followed the First Indochina War (1946–54) and was fought between North Vietnam—supported by the Soviet Union, China and other communist allies—and the government of South Vietnam—supported by the United States, Philippines and other anti-communist allies. The U.S. government viewed its involvement in the war as a way to prevent a Communist takeover of South Vietnam. But it failed in the end. Direct U.S. military involvement ended on 15 August 1973.The capture of Saigon by the North Vietnamese Army in April 1975 marked the end of the war, and North and South Vietnam were reunified the following year. The war exacted a huge human cost in terms of fatalities (see Vietnam War casualties).

I still have a dream , like everyone else , I would occasionally think of another situation in life , like son , And then , blink of an eye , I have forty , fifty , six-year-old , you understand , right ?”I believe that here , everyone’s sense of fear that will not be reduced , but at the same time we also feel a sense of detachment and great strength , although a number of issues have not be resolved , but they are now less important . Time is always circulating ruthlessly , it urged us not to let too much time fly under thinking . Film review---《Forrest Gump》Forrest Gump, an inspirational movie, a touching story. At the beginning of the film using the technique which tell the story, composed of a feather, it fly in the wind, across the car, landed on someone’s shoulder and gives the final stop in Forrest Gump feet, was he came into the book. The film begins...Forrest Gump who is unfortunately to be born with a lower IQ and the muscle problem, usually, people always think this kind of person can’t be successful in doing anything. But, instead, this unlucky man has achieved lots of incredible success; he is a football star, a war hero, and later a millionaire! Running forward is a kind of spirit, in the face of fate, he never worry about their own IQ only 75, he has done, focus, just do the best he can do. This is also we must learn from him, we should do things to look forward and focus on the things we can do, rather than put it in our ability’s reach. Times New RomanAfter watching the movie, as we can see ,the film shows kindness, thankness and honest. Harmless fodder for the American Idol generation but somewhat mind-numbing for the rest of us, Make it Happen follows the fortunes of budding dancer Lauryn as she pursues her lifelong dream to…well, you know the rest. Aiding her on this quest are the usual cast of forgettable,snap-talkin homegirls, whose principal claim to originality is using the word sexy as a noun (asin Girl, you got to find your sexy!).Despite boundless energy and some surprisingly artful photography, Make it Happen is never more than product. Cheap, abysmally scripted and utterly soulless, the film contents itself with running every cliché in the dance-movie playbook, checking off characters (rival dancer, blue-collar big brother, hip but heartfelt love interest) and situations (the big audition, the inevitable discovery of that elusive sexy) which were tired when Flashdance came out. The only surprise, for a pre-teen PG fantasy, is how much the characters drink – these girls can put away a triple shot of tequila without blinking. 200My thought about the film A Beautiful MindYesterday I saw a film named A Beautiful Mind , which I like very much. A Beautiful Mind is a story film about a real genius. The prototype of the story was a mathematician named Jr.Jone Fordes Nash. In his early age ,Nash, who was handsome but very odd, made a remarkable mathematical discovery and began to enjoy international reputation. Facing the challenge of schizophrenia which destroyed many people, with the help of his wife named Alicia , he was not beaten by it and on the contrary, he fought against it bravely. Through hard efforts of decades of years ,he finally conquered the unfortunate and won the Nobel Prize for economics. This is a true moving legend story, which I like very much. I was so frightened that forget crying and I had been trumbled in the muddy road.My favorite movie is Who is the Real Beautiful Monkey King. It's about this really nice guy named Forrest Gump who doesn't have a very high IQ but he is so kind and happy. The movie follows his whole life from when he was just a little kid all the way up until he gets older. When Forrest was little, he had to wear leg braces because his legs didn't work right. The other kids made fun of him and called him names because he was different. That made me really sad. But Forrest didn't let it get him down – he just kept on being friendly to everybody no matter what. His best friend was this girl named Jenny who lived next door. Even though Jenny's life was really hard with her mean dad, her and Forrest still did fun things together like running away from her house.Later when Forrest is a grown-up, he goes to fight in the Vietnam War. The war scenes are pretty scary with all the gunfire and explosions. But Forrest is brave and rescues his Lieutenantand some other soldiers from the battle. That's when he gets awarded the Medal of Honor, which is like a really big deal! I felt proud of Forrest when that happened. My favorite part is when Forrest becomes a really successful ping-pong player and gets to travel around to all these different countries for tournaments. He's so good that he even gets to meet the President! I liked seeing all the different places Forrest went on his ping-pong tours. It was funny how he didn't really understand what a big deal he was.Throughout the movie, you see Forrest reunite with his old friend Jenny over and over again. Even though their lives take them in very different directions, they always find a way to come back to each other. But it's not preachy at all, it's just a really heartwarming and entertaining story.I've watched Forrest Gump like a million times and I never get tired of it. Every time I see it, I pick up on new little details and jokes that I missed before. Like how Forrest seems to show up for all these huge moments in American history just by chance - The Vietnam War, talking to Presidents, the Watergate scandal, and more. It's so clever how they wove his story into real events from the 1960s-1990s.The end of the movie always makes me smile when Forrest finally reunites with Jenny for good and they get married and have a son together named Forrest Jr. It just feels like everything comes full circle for them by the end. And Forrest is so happy to have his own family after having such a rough childhood. He finally gets his truly happy ending!Overall, I think Forrest Gump is an absolute classic film that deserves all the praise it gets. The film review of Forrest Gump
If you're like me you hate to think; even worse is thinking about history- so much moral ambiguity, so much perspective and bothersome shades of grey,Isn't there a movie out there that can assure me that everything that happened during the latter-half of the twentieth century was Just Fine- all while deafening me with jukebox favorites?
Now you can! Robert Zemeckis and Tom Hanks proudly present "Forrest Gump" a left-wing work of right-wing propaganda that boldly proclaims the mentally retarded are not just AS GOOD as you and me, but better! And as a result, American Heroes!
Forrest Gump (Hanks), named after a civil war hero, grows up in Greenbow, Alabama, where his mother (Sally Field) runs a boarding house. Although Forrest is a little "slow" (his IQ is 75, 5 below the state's definition of "normal"), his mental impairment doesn't seem to bother him, his mother, or his best (and only) friend, Jenny Curran (played as an adult by Robin Wright). In fact, the naivete that comes through a limited understanding of the world around him gives Forrest a uniquely positive perspective of life.
During the next thirty years, Forrest becomes a star football player, a war hero, a successful businessman, and something of a pop icon. Through it all, however, there is one defining element in his life: his love for Jenny. She is never far from his thoughts, no matter what he's doing or where he is.
In the year of 60s and 70s , no topic more inflamed the turbulent national consciousness than that of Vietnam and those who were sent overseas to fight. Forrest, as might be expected, has a singular viewpoint on his time spent there: "We took long walks and were always looking for this guy named Charlie." In this observation can be found the essence of the title character's nature.
Forrest Gump has several messages, some of which are less obvious than others. The most frequently recurring theme is an admonition not to give up on life. Why surrender when you don't know what lies ahead? By contrasting Forrest's life with the lives of those around him, the movie underlines this point.
Tom Hanks won the Academy Award for Philadelphia, but his performance there is more impressive. The Alabama accent may seem a little awkward at first, but it doesn't take long for the acting to dwarf the twang. Hanks has no difficulty creating a totally human character who is free of guile and deceit, and barely able to comprehend a concept like evil. Robin Wright gives the best performance of her career, surpassing what she accomplished in The Playboys. Looking and seeming like a younger Jessica Lange, she is believable as the object of Forrest's undying affection. The real scene-stealer, however, is Gary Sinise. A renowned director and theatrical actor, Sinise is probably best known to film-goers for his portrayal of George in 1992's Of Mice and Men (which he also directed). In this movie, his Lieutenant Dan Taylor is
riveting. The passion and pain he brings to the middle portions of Forrest Gump hold together some of the film's weaker moments.
In a word,I think the film reflects the background from details, The processing of detail is very impressive for me.
