APPLE TREE
A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and lay around it every day. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow... He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.
Time went by... the little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree every day. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad. “Come and play with me,”the tree asked the boy. “I am no longer a kid, I don’t play around trees anymore.”The boy replied, “I want toys. I need money to buy them.”“Sorry, but I don’t have money...but you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money.”The boy was so excited. He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily. Theboy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

Apple TreeAn apple tree is a beautiful sight to behold. It stands tall and proud, with its branches spreading wide to embrace the sun.The leaves are a vibrant green, and when the wind blows, they dance and sway in the most graceful manner. The apple tree bears delicious fruits that are a favorite among many. The apples are round and firm, with a smooth and shiny skin. They come in a variety of colors, from red to green to yellow. The flesh is juicy and sweet, and when you take a bite, you can taste the hint of sunshine that the tree has absorbed. But the apple tree is more than just a source of delicious fruit. It is also a symbol of life and growth. From the moment it is planted, the tree begins to grow and thrive. It goes through different stages, from the tiny seedling to the full-grown tree.It endures the harsh winters and the scorching summers, but it always manages to bounce back, stronger and more resilient than ever. The apple tree also provides a habitat for many creatures.Birds build their nests in its branches, and squirrels come to feast on the fallen apples.Insects and worms help to aerate the soil, making it richer and more fertile. The tree, in turn, provides them with food and shelter. The apple tree is a reminder that life is full of possibilities. It teaches us to persevere and to embrace change. It shows us that with enough love and care, we can grow and flourish, just like the apple tree.So let us embrace the beauty and wisdom of the apple tree, and let it inspire us to become the best version of ourselves.。

Apple trees are a common sight in many parts of the world. They are deciduous trees that belong to the rose family and are known for their delicious fruit. Apple trees are a popular choice for both home gardens and commercial orchards, as they are relatively easy to grow and provide a bountiful harvest each year. One of the most distinctive features of an apple tree is its trunk. The trunk is typically thick and sturdy, with a rough, grayish-brown bark that becomes more fissured and scaly as the tree ages. The branches of an apple tree grow in a spreading, rounded shape, giving the tree a distinctive silhouette. The leaves of an apple tree are another defining characteristic. They are simple, with a dark green upper surface and a lighter, fuzzy underside. The leaves are oblong in shape and have a serrated edge, giving them a slightly jagged appearance. In the fall, the leaves turn a beautiful array of colors, ranging from bright yellow to deep red, before eventually falling to the ground. One of the most eagerly anticipated events in the life of an apple tree is its flowering season. In the spring, the tree produces clusters of delicate white or pink blossoms that cover the branches. These flowers have five petals and a central cluster of stamens and pistils, which are the reproductive parts of the plant. The flowers have a sweet, fragrant aroma that attracts a variety of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. After the flowers have been pollinated, they begin to develop into the fruit that we know as apples. The apples start out small and green, gradually growing in size and changing color as they ripen. Depending on the variety, the apples can be red, yellow, green, or a combination of these colors. The skin of the apple is smooth and waxy, and the flesh inside is firm, juicy, and crisp. One of the most important aspects of growing apple trees is pruning. Pruning involves selectively cutting back the branches of the tree to encourage healthy growth and a bountiful harvest. It is typically done in the late winter or early spring, before the tree begins to bud and bloom. Proper pruning helps to maintain the tree's shape, remove any dead or damaged branches, and promote the growth of new, healthy branches.Another important factor in the care of an apple tree is soil quality. Apple trees thrive in well-drained, slightly acidic soil that is rich inorganic matter. They also require regular watering, especially during the hot, dry summer months, to ensure that the roots have access to the moisture they need to grow and produce fruit. In addition to their culinary uses, apple trees also have a number of other practical applications. The wood of the apple tree is hard and durable, making it a popular choice for use in furniture, flooring, and other woodworking projects. The leaves and bark of the tree also have medicinal properties, and have been used in traditional remedies for a variety of ailments.Perhaps one of the most endearing qualities of the apple tree is its longevity. Some apple trees can live for hundreds of years, and continue to produce a bountiful harvest year after year. This longevity is a testament to the resilience and adaptability of these remarkable trees. In conclusion, the apple tree is a versatile and beloved plant that has been an integral part of human culture for centuries. From its delicious fruit to its practical applications, the apple tree is a true wonder of nature. Whether you are growing one in your backyard or simply enjoying the sight of one in a nearby orchard, the apple tree is a true treasure to behold.。

They are commonly found in temperate regions around the world and are known for their delicious and nutritious fruits. Apple trees have a number of interesting habits and characteristics that make them unique among fruit-bearing trees. One of the most important characteristics of apple trees is that they are self-incompatible, which means that they require pollen from another apple tree in order to produce fruit. This is known as cross-pollination and is essential for the production of a good crop of apples.

T:Do you know how to say 苹果 in English?
Apple!
T:Do you like apple?
S: YES.
T:I like apple,too.
Step 3 Presentation
1.T:Now ,let’s enjoy a song.《apple tree》
2.T:I like apple.it is round.[
3.T:I like apple.it is red.[ppt
Apple juicy, apple sweet.
5.T:apple round, apple red,Apple juicy, apple sweet.
Oh, i love apple!
师生操练:apple apple ,i love you.
6.T:I love apple, apple is sweet, i love to eat.Do you love to eat apple?[

Step 4 Consolidation
1.Work in pairs
