基于Norland紫外固化胶的热光开关器件王旗;王希斌;孙小强;田亮;王菲;张大明【摘要】采用新型聚合物材料Norland紫外固化胶(NOA)制备了聚合物M-Z 型热光开关器件。

对NOA薄膜材料的光学性质进行了表征,采用感应耦合等离子体(ICP)方法制备出形貌良好的波导器件。

测得在1 550 nm波长下,长2.2 cm 的直波导插入损耗为8.3 dB。

在电极上施加直流信号,测得热光开关的消光比为11 dB,驱动功率为85 mW。

引入直流偏置网络,获得了器件的开关特性曲线,测得开关器件的上升时间为1.085 ms,下降时间为489.5μs。

实验结果表明:NOA材料在热光开关及其它聚合物光波导集成器件的制备中具有很大的应用潜力。

摘要:An optical switch capable of complementary switching between two input signals and two output signals through a single switching unit element. The optical switches are provided in two stages wherein the first stage optical switch has one input being connected with the optical signal of an optical transmission line and another input being connected with an inserting signal. A branched signal is delivered from one output of the first stage, a branched/inserted signal is delivered from another output and these signals are inputted to the second stage optical switch. The optical signal of an optical transmission line and the optical signal to be branched/inserted can thereby be made to correspond arbitrarily through an optical switch of small scale and a flexible network can be configured.

present invention relates to a dispersion compensating module or the like having a simple and compact structure. The dispersion compensating module comprises a plurality of dispersion compensators between its input and output ends and at least one or more optical switches disposed between these dispersion compensators. Each of the optical switches acquires signals reached from its first port and is switching-controlled so that the signals are outputted from one of its second and third ports. The dispersion compensating module controls the port switching operation of at least one of the optical switches, thereby adjusting the propagation line of the signals, i.e., the dispersion compensation amount. In this manner, the dispersion of the signals which reached the input end of the dispersion compensating module is compensated for by an amount determined in accordance with the installation position of the optical switch in which port switching is to be performed, and the dispersion-compensated signals are outputted from the output end of the dispersion compensating module.

Permutation Switches
• Rearrangeably non-blocking networks : Any point may be connected to any other point provided we are allowed to re-route some existing connections. Thus it requires temporarily break and make functions. All permutations of inputs to outputs can be established by a rearrangeably non-blocking network. • Strong-sense non-blocking network : Guarantees that a connection from an idle input to an idle output will never be blocked provided that we control and manage all connections following an appropriate algorithm. • Strictly non-blocking network : Guarantees that a connection from an idle input to an idle output will never be blocked, and any available path can be used for any connection at anytime.
