The new medium provides a great opportunity for people among us to show their talent and realize their dreams. In addition, the luck dogs get fame and fortune instantly, which encourages much more people with hope and talent to participate in this show tide. The tremendous success of TV show embodies not only in the triumph of participants but in the proficiency made by the show sponsors. What’s more, the prosperous scene also appeals to the modern audience who bear a much more critical taste thanks to the rapid advancement of society and flourish improvement of economy. As far as I am concerned, it is such popular brand-new amusement way that relaxes our mind as well as isolates us from the mountain-like burden and stressful assignments which seems endless. As the saying goes, every coin has two sides. There’s no denying that TV shows have sprung up like mushrooms. However, at the same time, the disadvantages exposed in front of us. The excessive pursuit of high rating impel the makers to produce inappropriate topics to catch people’s attention. Some of this may be shocking but it will mislead the youth and motivate them to form improper values of life and world, such as becoming a celebrity overnight, money above all. Besides, the inevitable and fierce competition urges a stereotyped pattern which is short of creativity and imagination. The imitation is widespread regardless of the reality. The vicious circle brings a lot negative influences. As a result, people have less interest in it and even are tired of the style. In my opinion, the TV studios are supposed to offer more stimulating and favorable shows and it is the responsibility of the media to give people proper guidance.
