Roland SPD-SX 采样扬声器说明书

Roland SPD-SX Sampling Pad CatalogThe SPD-SX takes many of the proven concepts from its predecessor and raises them to a new level. Whether you’re firingoff one-shot samples, looped phrases, or complete audio playback tracks, the SPD-SX is loaded with the latest technology and tools to get the job done with speed, precision, and convenience. Enjoy the most advanced triggering and sampling technology in a sleek, easy-to-use percussion instrument. The new SPD-SX Sampling Pad putspowerful sample creation and playback underyour sticks with innovative audio-capturingfeatures, expressive playability, threemulti-effects engines, and much more. Theperfect addition to any acoustic or electronicdrum kit, percussion setup, DJ booth, orkeyboard rig, the SPD-SX is equally at homeon the live stage, in the recording studio,pre-production suite, or dance club. The Ultimate Percussive Sampling InstrumentThe SPD-SX is equipped with nine highly sensitive rubber pads with two independent real-time control knobs and four dedicated effect buttons. Roland’s most advanced triggering technology ensures the ultimate in accuracy and fully dynamic performance, while a large backlit LCD provides easy-to-read data in all varieties of environments. Each pad has a companion LED that illuminates to show the pad’s status. When you trigger sample phrases, the LEDs remain lit to show you which pads are in play. In addition, the LEDs change illumination strength according to audio-level activity (similar to level meters on a mixing board). The high-contrast red divider lines help you see the pad zones clearly onstage. The Playing FieldToday, increasing numbers of drummers and percussionists need to incorporate audio samples into their performance. The SPD-SX will satisfy their increasing requirements with essential features such as individual click output routing, dedicated volume controls, Pad Check function, individual Sub Out, and more.Improved Playability and FunctionalityThe SPD-SX has three multi-effects units onboard: one master unit and two units that are assignable per kit. The master effects engine lets you perform in real time like a DJ using the dedicated front-panel controls. Get your hands on the filter, delay, short looper, and user-assignable effect — all of which can be creatively adjusted with the four front-panel buttons and two control knobs.Onboard EffectsThere’s much more to the SPD-SX than meets the eye.A powerful-yet-friendly lineup of features has been built into this little powerhouse, such as Multi-Pad Sampling. While audio streams in from an external audio player or computer (via Audio In or USB), simply strike each pad at the appropriate start/end points, and the sample will be automatically truncated and assigned to that pad. It’s a fast, friendly way to create multi-sampled phrases and pad maps.Multi-Pad SamplingY ou can assign samples to different pads, rename them, and even import or export audio files (WAV/AIFF).for Microsoft Windows 7for Mac OSSPD-SXWAVE MANAGERSPD-SX Wave Manager Software IncludedThe SPD-SX’s generous internal memory (2GB) lets you store and carry your entire sample library inside. With no external memory required, you can house approximately 360 minutes of audio (10,000 files) at 16-bit, 44.1 kHz, mono (storage reduced in stereo). The built-in USB ports let you directly import audio files from USB flash memory. The bundled SPD-SX Wave Manager software app lets you import audio files directly from computer via USB, assign the samples to each pad, and organizethe thousands of samples efficiently.Printed in Japan September, 2011 RAM-4726 AB-3 GR-UPR-SSVisit us online at All specifications and appearances are subject to change without notice.Company names and product names appearing in this document are registered trademarks or trademarks of their respective owners.ASIO is a trademark of Steinberg Media T echnologies GmbH.Roland, BOSS, and OCT APAD are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Roland Corporation in the United States and/or other countries.■ Specifications■ Rear Panel■ Setup ExampleThe Reinvention of the OCTAPADSPD -30● Packed with new percussion sounds from around the world, plus 30 types of multi-effects ● The latest pad-sensing technology developed for V-Drums provides consistent and accurate pad triggering with excellent isolation between pads ● Phrase Loop function lets you record your playing in real time and overdub up to three layers■ Options。

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Multi Forms of Advanced Synthesis------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------By integrating a new dual core V-Synth engine, the V-Synth GT can combine Elastic Audio Synthesis, Vocal Designer technology, and AP-SYNTHESIS in real time. Roland's proprietary VariPhrase technology is also integrated into the V-Synth GT. Together with its analog-modeling engine, External Audio input, and digital sampling architecture, the V-Synth GT provides an incredibly wide and colorful foundation on which to capture, manipulate, and create sounds.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------AP-SYNTHESIS------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The V-Synth GT is the first synthesizer in the world equipped with AP (Articulative Phrase) SYNTHESIS. This revolutionary form of modeling recreates the ever-changing behavior, nuance, and sound of an instrument as it’s being played. The results are stunningly expressive and realistic, and can be applied to acoustic instrument simulation as well as new, never-before-heard sounds.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Speed Programming------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Serious sound designers will love the complexity and editing depth the V-Synth GT , but there are many instances where musicians need fresh sounds fast — and that’s the beauty of Sound Shaper II.Based on the original Sound Shaper, this enhanced mode lets you chose a sound type, then it brings the most relevant parameters directly to the surface. You’ll be creating new sounds in seconds!------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Futuristic Design------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The V-Synth GT is a top-of-the-line instrument. No corners were cut in creating its futuristic yet friendly layout and design. If you wish to initialize (erase) the user settings, press [NO], and proceed to step 10.The user settings that can be left in the VS-1680 are as follows.-Easy routing (VS-1680 Owner’s Manual, p. 41)-Effect user patches (VS-1680 Owner’s Manual, p. 110)-Alarm function message (VS-1680 Owner’s Manual, p. 193)Expanding the functionality of the VS-168078From the 256 V-tracks you can now select any two tracks, and mixdown to these two tracks as you play back 16 tracks simultaneously.Added mastering tracksUntil now, you had to use an external DAT recorder or MD recorder if you wanted to mixdown a song that used all sixteen tracks. For example if you wanted to produce an original audio CD, you needed to first mixdown to an external recorder (DAT or MD), and then re-record that song onto the VS-1680.(DAT or MD) are provided on the VS-1680 itself.mastering tracks. With the factory settings, V-track 16 of tracks 15/16 (i.e., 15-16 and 16-16) are assigned as the mastering tracks. For example, you can play back V-tracks 1-1, 2-1, 3-1...15-1, and 16-1 (a total of 16 tracks), and record the result on V-tracks 15-16 and 16-16 (a total of two tracks).is set to “MAS (mastering),” you can play back V-tracks 1-1, 2-1, 3-1...7-1, and 8-1 (a total of 8 tracks), and record on V-tracks 7-16 and 8-16 (a total of two tracks). Tracks 9–16 cannot be used.Mixing down to the mastering tracksHere’s how to select the mastering tracks, and perform a mixdown.mastering tracks (two tracks) is significantly affected by the speed of the hard disk. For this reason, depending on the structure of the song data (sampling rate and recording mode, or when punch-in/out is used frequently, etc.), or depending on the drive that you use, the display may indicate “Drive Busy,” and the operation may nottake place correctly. In order to take full advantage of theVS-1680’s potential, such as the number of tracks thatcan be recorded/played simultaneously, and the recording capacity, we recommend that you use a hard disk which capacity is 2.1 GB or more.1.Press [MASTER].2.Press [PAGE] so that [F6] indicates “M.Tr,” and thenpress [F6 (M.Tr)].3.Press [ENTER (YES)].4.Press [], [], [], or [] to move the cursor.Use the TIME/VALUE dial to specify the value for eachparameter.Mix 16 tracks down to 2 tracks (Mastering Room)9Mix 16 tracks down to 2 tracks (Mastering Room)Playing back the mastering 10Mix 16 tracks down to 2 tracks (Mastering Room) MEMO11Mix 16 tracks down to 2 tracks (Mastering Room)Mix 16 tracks down to 2 tracks (Mastering Room) Track 1--16you use it, EFX2/EFX4 will be unavailable.EQ (Equalizer)This is a four-band equalizer with low, low-mid, high-mid, and high ranges.Turns the equalizer on/off.InputG (Input gain) -24–+12dBAdjusts the overall volume level of the signal before entering the equalizer.Low Type Shlv, Peak High Type Shlv, PeakSelects the type of the low range (Low) and high range(High) equalizer. No part of this publication may be reproduced in any form without the written permission of ROLAND CORPORATION.All trademarks are the property of their respective owners. An Introduction to Hard Disk Recording Just as word processors have revolutionized the writing process, digital hard disk recorders (HDRs) are giving musicians unprecedented creative freedom in the production of their music.Imagine being able to......record as many tracks of a guitar solo as youwant without having to erase one take....listen to your song in many differentarrangements and choose the one that you or yourproducer likes best....boldly experiment, knowing that your originalrecordings are safe and mistakes can be ‘undone’....record, mix and add effects all in one digital unit. This creative flexibility is whatHard Disk Recording is all about. This guide discusses the issues and power of Hard Disk Recording and will help you to:• Understand the basics of digital recording,• Learn about different kinds of digital recorders,• Understand how hard disk recording is different fromother types of digital recorders, and• Understand the basics of how recording works on HDRsand where your music “goes.”You will see the incredible benefits of such features as: random access; virtual tracks; and pointer based, non destructive editing. You will also learn about integrating HDRs with effect processors and MIDI devices, and how easy it is to understand and use HDR systems. This second edition has even added the latest concepts and terms to keep you up to date. Most importantly, this guide will be your doorway to HDRs, showing you how much control they can give you, empowering you to expand your creativity and make your music sound its best.1What IS Digital Recording?2Different Forms of Digital Recording3Types of Hard Disk Recorders4What’s the Big Deal About Hard Disk Recording?5How Do I Record Music With an HDR?6FF STOP PLAY RECWhere Does the Audio Go in Hard Disk Recording?8What Do I Do When the Disk Gets Full?Re-loadto SCSIfrom SCSI9What Is Pointer Based Editing?10Pointer Based Editing11Pointer Based Editing12What Is Random Access?13Random Access14What Are Virtual Tracks?15Virtual Tracks16Digital Effects17Digital Mixing18What About MIDI?19ModelingHaving all of your audio and FX in the digital domain has huge advantages, as we have seen. One of the great new technologies available using digital FX is modeling. Modeling technology takes a known source and "models" the sound characteristics of one or more usually very expensive sound processors or devices. The three most powerful modeling technologies available today are COSM* guitar amplifier modeling, COSM microphone modeling, and COSM speaker modeling.Guitar modeling simulates the sound of very expensive guitar pre-amps, amplifiers and speaker systems using as an input a standard electric guitar.Microphone modeling simulates the response of some very expensive large and small diaphragm condenser mics using as an input very inexpensive dynamic microphones.Speaker modeling creates the listening experience you would have using a variety of expensive studio monitors or even TV speaker or a boom box from the same, inexpensive digital powered reference monitors**. Using just this one set of speakers you can hear how your mix would sound in a variety of listening environments. This is a great way to improve your mixing skills and make your music sound its best in a variety of settings. * COSM stands for Composite Object Sound Modeling, a proprietary technology from Roland Corporation. COSM is used to model a wide variety of expensive microphones, guitar amplifiers, and monitorspeakers.**COSM speaker modeling uses the COSM modeling software in the VS-880EX or VS-1680 with the the Roland DS-90 Digital PoweredReference Monitors to model a wide variety of speaker systems.20How Does Modeling Work?? Let’s take a closer look at speaker modeling to understand how this revolutionary technology works. First of all, you need a "source" speaker system designed to work with the modeling. All of the sound reproduction characteristics of that speaker system is studied by the engineers and mapped out. Next, the same characteristics of the speakers being modeled are studied and also charted out. Then advanced DSP technology is used to adjust the output characteristics of the source speaker system to exactly match the output qualities and characteristics of the speakers being modeled. The bottom line is that you can listen to your mixes as they would sound on a wide variety of very expensive and also some inexpensive, lower fidelity but very common speaker systems. Using Speaker Modeling, you can check your mixes and make sure they will sound great in many different listening environments just as they do in very expensive studios all over the world!21Other Advantages of Hard Disk Recorders22Comparison Chart23Summary2425Glossary26Glossary27®ÂØÒňήRoland Corporation U.S., 7200 Dominion Circle, Los Angeles, CA90040-3696。
