对于游戏,学⽣们也是乐此不疲的,我在平常的英语教学中, “猜⼀猜”、“模仿秀”、“开⽕车”等游戏都是常做的。

我在设计游戏时还要考虑到游戏的难度及适⽤度,尤其是⼀些具有挑战性、竞赛性的游戏,孩⼦们更是喜欢。

在英语课堂上如能恰当地把英语教学与情感教育有机结合起来,设计各种学习活动,帮助学生树立正确的世界观、人生观和价值观。

那么,课堂教学会变得更丰富、深刻,达到“无声胜有声,快乐教学”的效果。

这是学生的心声,也是我们教师由衷的渴望,在此我想跟大家分享个小故事。

在我印象中有一堂这样的课。

那天,教学进行得很顺利,学生们聚精会神,课堂气氛也非常活跃。

教学的目标是要求学生能听、说、认读单词doctor, nurse, driver, farmer, baseball player,并能介绍人物的职业;能够听懂、会说句型What’s your father? My mother is a doctor.等。

我设计的教学思路是,先复习上节课的生词family, uncle, aunt, parents, baby brother,由这些人物图片的服装或动作引出表示职业的单词,并学习这些单词,做一些趣味游戏;在初步掌握这些单词后,再学说句子What’s your father? My mother is a doctor.等;然后再做一些练习与活动,巩固所学知识。

课堂按我设计的步骤进行着,在学习了五个生词之后,我引导学生说说自己父母的职业:What’s your father? What’s your mother? My father is a …. My mother is a ….任务提出以后,学生的反应并不像往常那样积极,而是有点出乎我的意外,举手的人寥寥无几,有的甚至低着头,不敢看我,生怕我叫他一样。

我有些疑虑,但还是先叫了那几个举手的学生回答。

“My father is a driver/boss…. My mother is a nurse/ teacher…”.他们回答之后,就再也没有举手的人了。

我原以为是我刚才讲的太快,很多学生没听清楚;或者是他们单词还没学好,对自己没信心,不敢说;又或是别的什么原因。

于是我耐着性子,把刚才的话从头到尾重复了一遍,经过再三提示和鼓励,终于有几只小手举了起来。

我欣喜若狂,赶紧请他们说。

我问道:“What’s your father?”他好像很不好意思地说:“My father is a farmer.”我又问了其他几位学生,回答大部分是“My father is a farmer. My mother is a farmer, too.”而且他们说话的声音很低,勉强能听得见。

此时,我心里已经猜到了几分,于是我面对全班学生,有点生气地问:“farmer怎么了?farmer不好吗?你们都看不起farmer 是吗?”这时,彭伟最先举手说:“Miss Yan, 做老板—boss,才是最好的职业,很有钱。

我爸爸就是大老板,每天开车送我上学。

”李菁说:“Miss Yan, 我妈妈说,做农民又脏又累,又没有钱,还被人瞧不起。

她要我好好读书,将来找个好工作,挣大钱。

”孙涛也说:“Miss Yan, 我将来要当科学家,拿诺贝尔奖。

在他们心目中,老板、科学家、工程师、医生、教师等等都是令人羡慕的职业,而“farmer”却是“被人瞧不起、又脏又累”的职业。

我不禁有些担忧起来:小小年纪,对职业就已经有了这么鲜明的立场了,而且……,我不敢想象,要是这样发展下去,将来会怎么样呢?我犹豫了一下,有些语重心长地说:“同学们,当老板、科学家、工程师、医生、教师当然很好,可以为社会做贡献,为人民谋幸福。

可是如果没有农民—farmer, 这个世界又会是什么样呢?”我让学生四人一组讨论,再汇报。

此时,同学们似乎有些意识到我的用意了,汇报时,有的说:“如果没有农民,我们就没有粮食了,‘民以食为天’嘛,我们就活不下去了。

”有的说:“没有了农民,我们就没有了棉花、丝绸等原料,也就没有衣服可穿。

”还有的说:“没有了农民,我们的生活将无法正常进行。

”……他们说得真好,我非常满意,不禁要为他们鼓掌。

我想,要想改变他们的观点不是一朝一夕就可以做到的,我们要慢慢来。

不管怎样,他们现在说的正是我所期望的,所以我很高兴地表扬了他们,告诉他们:职业没有高低贵贱之分,各行各业的人都是平等的,这个社会缺少哪一行都不行,我们应该根据能否为社会做贡献来评价和选择职业。

为此,在课堂教学中,我经常组织学生采用摸摸、闻闻、玩玩、唱唱等方式学习新知,直观形象,让学生轻松地理解和掌握单词和句型,有利于活跃学生身心,减轻学习疲劳,同时,还培养他们积极参与的兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,同时通过巧妙合理地组织教学过程,有机地整合新旧知识,促进学生情知互动。

譬如,新授单词dirty的引入,出示一双脏手,简单直观,首先让学生有了视觉上的感受,接下来因为手脏,所以要洗手,在我亲身示范的过程中,吸引了学生的注意力,自然地引出了I wash my hands with water 的句型,在练习之后,我的一个问题,What do you do with water?让学生联系实际,说说水的用途,有学生说:I wash my hair with water.有的说:I wash my coat with water.还有的说:I brush my teeth with water.开放式的提问,激发了学生说的欲望,发挥了想象,活跃了思维,交流了他们的生活体验,锻炼了他们的表达能力。

说到水的用途,自然地说到可以洗毛巾,引入了新单词towel,操练单词,我自编儿歌,把知识点融入儿歌中,朗朗上口的语音语调,鲜明的韵律节奏,给学生带来了学习的乐趣,使他们学得快记得牢。

接着,让学生讨论他们带的毛巾,小组讨论的活动为每一个学生都创设了说的机会,从个别学生的介绍中,我惊讶地发现了学生能很好的把新旧知识整合起来,用到了很多学过的句型,如一学生说到:This is my towel. It’s a rectangle. It’s yellow. It’s very soft. There are some flowers on it. I wash my face with my towel. I like it very much.完整地表达了自己的思想,提高了能力。

由于毛巾很脏,于是就用香皂洗毛巾,引入了soap这一单词,让学生通过摸、闻来感受soap,鼓励他们使用各种器官参与学习、进行体验,学生的踊跃说明了活动发挥了他们的能动性。

我这时候盛胜追击,给学生提供了一个开放式的问题:I like Safeguard soap.What do you like?给学生畅所欲言的机会,学生说的答案也是各种各样,由于在表达过程中,我没有因为他们用中文表达某些牌子加以制止,学生开口表达的积极性大大得到了提高。

接下来的活动,出示一条玩具鲨鱼,由于鲨鱼嘴里有很多牙齿,引出了teeth,在数牙齿的活动中,学生知道了tooth和teeth之间的区别,为了更好地巩固这一知识点,我自编了歌曲:One little tooth,two littleteeth,three little,four little, five little teeth...ect.学生在熟悉的旋律中,唱着歌曲,兴致盎然。

我的英语教学小故事——灵感,使我的教学更有实效打开课本备课,一翻刚好翻在了一个单元的“story time ”部分。

不经意的看了下这个内容,发觉这理的故事是如此的有趣,而且刚好有下节课需要讲的知识点。

脑海中顿时有个闪光点:下节英语课我可不可以上成故事课呢?这节课的重点和难点是要让学生掌握句型“When is your birthday? My birthday is in... ”,并听说认读新句型“Is your birthday in...too?”我能不能把这句型融入故事中,让学生在饶有兴趣的欣赏故事的时候,不知不觉的把这句子印入脑海呢?我该怎么做才能使这句型突出呢?看到zoom这个同学们都很熟悉的人物。

我猛敲一下脑袋:对啊,我是不是可以在zoom的声音上做文章呢?在教学故事的时候,把这两句话用很滑稽、很怪味的语气给“暴”出来,就像春晚每次都有个经典词,那我在设计的时候就要把这重点句子成为本堂课的经典词。

让学生自己主动想去模仿和表演这两句话。

上课后,学生齐唱很有节奏的歌曲,这样的歌声使容易犯困的春天下午,也变得有活力,学生也精神饱满的进入英语课堂。

唱好歌曲后,学生等着我的提问(这是老传统,我上课开始的时候,总是以提问的方式复习前面的知识点)。

而我却把一张挂图呈现了出来:“zoom在一家餐馆的前面,并流下了口水”。

学生看到这个图后感到很滑稽,都笑成了一团。

我趁势说:今天我们不上课了,而是要讲个故事给你们听听,就是关于这个可爱的zoom的。

同学们想听吗?“听说是英语课不上了,而是要讲故事了,学生的精神劲和快乐劲就如同原子弹一样爆发了出来.而且学生也是空前的配合老师上课,我观察了下那几个后进生,他们也都准备洗耳恭听呢!我继续说到:这个zoom啊,肚子很饿了,但身上又没钱,但他最后还是在这个餐馆用餐了?他到底有什么法子呢?现在我们一起来看看这个故事就知道了?”故事的魅力真的大,把学生牢牢的吸引住,特别是那几句经典词,学生更是有兴趣,不断的模仿其中的语气,说给同桌听.那几个从来不听课的学生也能侃上了几句.简单却不失有趣的故事,达成了很好的效果,我注意看了下,他们好像还意犹未尽,我因势利导:叫学生准备下把这个故事表演出来。
