Based on theIntel ® Xeon ® processor E5-2600 v4 and v3 product family, it offers up to 1.5 TB of total memory when using 64 GBDIMMs, up to two drives, and up to 80 Gbps I/O throughput. Lenovo Flex System Fabric EN4093R 10Gb Scalable SwitchProduct GuideThe Lenovo® Flex System Fabric EN4093R 10Gb Scalable Switch provides unmatched scalability, port flexibility, and performance. The switch also delivers innovations to help address several networking concerns today and provides capabilities that help you prepare for the future.This switch can support up to 64x 10 Gb Ethernet connections while offering Layer 2/3 switching, in addition to OpenFlow and "easy connect" modes. It installs within the I/O module bays of the Flex System™ Enterprise Chassis. This switch can help clients migrate to a 10 Gb or 40 Gb Ethernet infrastructure, offers cloud-ready virtualization features (such as Virtual Fabric and VMready®), and is Software Defined Network (SDN) ready. The EN4093R 10Gb Scalable Switch is shown in the following figure.Figure 1. Lenovo Flex System Fabric EN4093R 10Gb Scalable SwitchDid you know?The base switch configuration comes standard with 24x 10 GbE port licenses that can be assigned to internal connections or external SFP+ or QSFP+ ports with flexible port mapping. For example, this feature allows you to trade off four 10 GbE ports for one 40 GbE port (or vice versa) or trade off one external 10 GbE SFP+ port for one internal 10 GbE port (or vice versa). You then have the flexibility of turning on more ports when you need them by using Lenovo's Features on Demand upgrade licensing capabilities that provide “pay as you grow” scalability without the need to buy more hardware.The EN4093R is cloud ready with support for VM aware networking and advanced NIC virtualization technologies, such as Unified Fabric Port (UFP). In addition, the switch offers different operational modes (from "easy connect" transparent networking connectivity to Layer 3 functionality) to satisfy diverse client networking requirements.The EN4093R switch is SDN-ready with support for OpenFlow. OpenFlow is the protocol that enables the network administrator to easily configure and manage virtual networks that control traffic on a "per-flow" basis. OpenFlow creates multiple independent virtual networks and related policies without dealing with the complexities of the underlying physical network and protocols.With support for Converged Enhanced Ethernet (CEE), the EN4093R can be used as an FCoE transit device and is ideal for network-attached storage (NAS) and iSCSI environments.Click here to check for updatesFigure 2. A supported adapter must be installed in the corresponding slot of the compute node. Each adapter can use up to four lanes to connect to the respective I/O module bay. The EN4093R can use up to three of the four lanes.In compute nodes that have an integrated dual-port 10 GbE network interface controller (NIC), NIC ports are routed to bays 1 and 2 with a specialized periscope connector, and the adapter is not required. However, the periscope connector can be replaced with the adapter when needed. In such a case, integrated NIC is disabled. With flexible port mapping, there is no need to buy switch upgrades for 4-port and 8-port adapters if the total number of port licenses on the switch does not exceed the number of external (upstream network ports) and internal (compute node network ports) connections that are used.The following table shows compatibility information for the EN4093R and Flex System chassis.Table 7. To set up the development kit, install the ZDS II software. Connect the kit to PC, using the USB Smart Cable or Serial Smart Cable, as appropriate. Connect power to the adapter board. Figure 1 displays the eZ80F91 Modular Development Kit.Previous versions of the development kit used the Serial Smart Cable. Newkits as of June 2006 uses the USB Smart Cable.Follow the steps below to install the cable available with your kit:1.Install the ZDS II software as described in Installing the ZDS II Software and KitDocumentation on page 3.Figure 1.The eZ80F91 Modular Development Kit2.Connect your PC to the eZ80Acclaim! Ensure that pin 1 on the ribbon cable (indicated by the dark stripe) is aligned with pin 1 on the target connector.Disconnect or turn OFF the power to the eZ80Acclaim! MDS adapterboard, before connecting or disconnecting the USB Smart Cable.Applying Power to the Development BoardAfter installing the USB Smart Cable, connect the power supply to the development board at connector J7, and then to an electrical outlet. Sample projects are located in the following ZDS II sample directories:C:\Program Files\Zilog\ZDSII_eZ80Acclaim!_<version>\samples\ <processor type>_<demo_name>where <processor type> represents the eZ80Acclaim! device that powers the target module and <demo_name> represents the type of sample. (The LedDemo samples are for the legacy eZ80Acclaim! Development Kit that preceded the eZ80F91 Modular Develop-ment Kit).Running the Sample Starter ProjectA sample starter program is provided in the ZDS II CD-ROM. It demonstrates how to write proper code for the eZ80F91 modular development kit. The program writes a few character strings either to RS-232 PortP2 on the eZ80Acclaim! MDS adapter board, or to the Simulated Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter (UART) Output window (when running the Simulator Debug Tool).Once you have created your own application program, use ZDS II to download that code into the eZ80F91 for testing and debugging.The starter project is written, such that, it defaults to the RS-232 port version. Connect port 2 on the eZ80Acclaim!® MDS adapter board to your PC before running the sample program.Follow the steps below to build and run the sample program for viewing in HyperTerminal on your PC:1.Connect the DB9 RS-232 port on the eZ80Acclaim! MDS adapter board to an openserial port on your PC.2.Open HyperTerminal.3.On the File menu, click New Connection.4.In the Name field, enter a name that describes the connection.5.In the Icon box, click the appropriate icon, and then click OK.6.In the Connect To dialog box, choose the COM port you connected to the RS-232port on the eZ80F91 MDS adapter board in the Connect using drop-down box.7.In the Port Settings dialog box, set the following options:eZ80F91 Modular Development Kit•Bits per second: 57600•Data bits: 8•Parity: None•Stop bits: 1•Flow control: None8.Click OK. FUNCIONAMIENTO (3)MONTAJE (4)ESQUEMAS DE CONEXIÓN (5)REGULACION Y AJUSTE (10)PUESTA EN SEVICIO (14)DATOS TÉCNICOS (15)GARANTIA (16)Esta gama de termostatos sirve para la regulación de la temperatura en recintos cerrados y secos como pueden ser viviendas, locales públicos, etc.EMPLAZAMIENTO ADECUADOPara un óptimo funcionamiento deben situarse en una pared o tabique según los siguientes puntos:- Situación en una pared enfrente de la fuente de climatización a 1,5 m. sobre el nivel del suelo.- Debe evitarse el montaje en muros exteriores y en lugares expuestos a corrientes de aire.- Debe asegurarse que el aire normal de convención alcance el termostato sin dificultades. Para ello nodebe montarse el aparato en estanterías o detrás de cortinas o recubrimientos similares.- Debe evitarse la incidencia directa de rayos solares, la proximidad de televisores, lámparas, chimeneas, tuberías de calefacción y en general cualquierelemento que genere calor.Para proceder al montaje del aparato debe actuarse conforme a los siguientes pasos:1.Efectuar las conexiones eléctricas conforme se ex-plica en el apartado “Esquemas de conexión”.2.Sujetar el aparato sobre la caja de empotrar uni-versal.3.Montar la tapa utilizando el tornillo que oculta elbotón, de manera que la tapa sujete el marco.4.Poner el botón de selección de temperatura, ha-ciendo coincidir el nervio del eje en la ranura del alojamiento.Observaciones: Una vez montado el aparato reco-mendamos proteger el mismo con la tapa hasta su puesta definitiva en funcionamiento.NOTA: Asegúrese de desconectar la tensión de la instalación cuando manipule el aparato.La conexión eléctrica del aparato debe realizarse conforme se muestra en el esquema eléctrico de las figuras siguientes.Es preciso asegurar que el hilo del Neutro se conecte en la borna «N». Si esto no ocurriera el Termostato no trabajaría correctamente.La sección máxima de los conductores es de 2,5 mm2. Such consolidation simplifies the data center infrastructure and helps reduce the number of discrete devices, management consoles, and management systems while leveraging the 1 Gb Ethernet infrastructure. In addition, the next-generation switch module hardware supports IPv6 Layer 3 frame forwarding protocols. The EN2092 is able to use up to two of the four lanes.In compute nodes that have an integrated dual-port 10 GbE network interface controller (NIC), NIC's ports are routed to bays 1 and 2 with a specialized periscope connector, and the adapter card is not required. However, when needed, the periscope connector can be replaced with the adapter card. In such a case integrated NIC will be disabled.Prior to Networking OS 7.8, with 4-port or 8-port adapters, an optional Upgrade 1 (90Y3562) was required for the switch to allow communications on four ports. With Networking OS 7.8 or later, there is no need to buy additional switch upgrades for 4-port adapters if the total number of port licenses on the switch does not exceed the number of external (upstream network ports) and internal (compute node network ports) connections used.The midplane connections between the adapters that are installed in the compute nodes to the I/O module bays in the chassis are listed in the following table. This architecture simplifies data center access operations and architecture by combining the management simplicity of a single high-density access switch with the cabling simplicity of switches integrated into a chassis and top-of-rack (ToR) access switches.The B22 Fabric Extender provides transparent Flex System connectivity to your existing Cisco Nexus network. It aggregates compute node ports by appearing as a simple pass-thru device, and the upstream network sees a "large pipe" of server traffic coming to and from the chassis. With the B22 Fabric Extender, your network administration team continues to use the same network management tools that are deployed in the network to manage the connectivity from the physical servers in the chassis to the upstream network. Integrated or mezzanine Virtual Fabric adapters, combined with the Cisco Nexus B22 Fabric Extender for Flex System, offer network flexibility with virtual network interface controllers (NICs) (vNICs) supporting Ethernet, Internet Small Computer System Interface (iSCSI), and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) connectivity.Click here to check for updatesFigure 2. The following figure also shows both half-wide servers, such as the x240 with two adapters, and full-wide servers, such as the x440 with four adapters.Figure 3. Logical layout of the interconnects between I/O adapters and B22 Fabric ExtendersThe Cisco Nexus B22 Fabric Extender for Flex System can be installed in bays 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the Enterprise Chassis. A supported adapter must be installed in the corresponding slot of the compute node (slot A1 when interconnect modules are installed in bays 1 and 2 or slot A2 when the modules are in bays 3 and 4). With four-port and eight-port adapters, only two ports are used for communications, and the remaining ports (two or six ports respectively) are not used.In compute nodes that have an integrated dual-port 10 GbE network interface controller (NIC), NIC ports are routed to bays 1 and 2 with a specialized periscope connector, and the adapter in slot A1 is not required. However, when needed, the periscope connector can be replaced with the adapter. Compute Node NICs can be configured in an active/passive or active/active NIC teaming.With both topologies, each port of the compute node's NIC can be divided in up to four virtual NICs (vNICs).Cisco Nexus B22 Fabric Extender for Flex System in the converged FCoE networkCisco Nexus B22 Fabric Extender for Flex System supports Data Center Bridging (DCB), and it can transport FCoE frames by using FCoE Initialization Protocol (FIP) snooping. These B22 Fabric Extenders provide an inexpensive solution for transporting encapsulated FCoE packets to the Fibre Channel Forwarder (FCF), which is functioning as both an aggregation switch and an FCoE gateway, such as the Cisco Nexus 5000 Series.
