小学英语《新标准》第五册(三年级起点)按照国家《英语课程标准》(实验稿)的分级,五年级上学期是学生英语学习进入国家二级阶段的第一个学期,英语教学进入一个关键的时段。

本期的课文文字与插图分离,一方面是出于对学生年龄特点的考虑,另一方面也说明对文字认读的要求提升了。

同时,本期的教学内容有了一定的变化,要求教师在进一步提升学生听说读写水平的基础上,逐步增强学生的读写水平。

本学期的教学重点是水平要求在一定水准上的转轨。

教师要按国家二级要求实行课堂教学和课外活动,以达到新的水平培养目标。

五年级英语课堂的教学环节与三、四年级课堂教学环节应有所不同。

低年级学生通过肌体活动学语言,获得精神上的愉悦,高年级学生应该逐步转入通过识读文字学习语言,获得精神上的愉悦,进而树立做人做事的自信心。

在本期的学习中,没有特别新的语言项目就是为了确保学习方法的转轨。
