Good morning, every one! Today we are going to learn Unit 3: “What are you doing for vacation?” First, let’s look at the language goals.
Step 1: Section A 1a
1.Show students some pictures and ask them to say the activities in the pictures.
I’ll show you a picture. What are they doing for vacation? Please look at the next one. What is he doing for vacation?
2.Read together.
a. Let’s read all these phrases together. Now read after me.
b. Do you know what these phrases mean in Chinese?
3.Task 1: Get to know vacation activities.
a. Now let’s think more vacation activities. Please have a discussion with your partner.

5.Exchange your vacation plans, using the structure below. Then take notes of four students’ vacation plans. Fill in the chart.
A: Who is your partner?
B: Li Chen.
A: What is he doing for vacation?
B: He’s going camping.
A: That sounds nice. Who is he going with?
B: He’s going with his parents.
6.Write a report.
Please write a report for all the people in your group, using the information in the chart that you filled.
7.Read the report.

Step 6: Summary
a. Let’s summarize what we learnt in this period.
