Unit1 Could you tell me how to get to the National Stadium?

【教学目标】

1.语言知识目标:

1. To understand conversations about asking for and giving directions.

2. To understand the sentences about positions.

3. To learn how to ask for and give directions.

2.语言技能目标:

To learn how to ask for and give directions.

3.情感目标:

培养学生们在问路与指路中能够感觉帮助与被帮助的感觉,培养他们乐于助人的品质,同时提醒同学们注意自身安全。

【教学重点】训练听力,捕捉到语篇中的重要信息,并能运用所学的知识进行交流。

【教学难点】灵活运用问路和指路句型进行语言交际。

【教学方法】直观教学法、情境教学法、任务型教学法、小组合作探究教学【教学过程】

Step1:Warming-up

1.问候以及热身TPR.

2.玩猜谜游戏,出示一些图片,引导学生学习单词.

【设计意图】通过TPR和小游戏活跃课堂气氛,复习相关单词,学习新单词,为教授新课做好铺垫。

Step2:Pre-listening

1. 看地图,初步了解问路和指路的方式。

2. 完成课本活动一,听录音,给图片排序。

【设计意图】练习听处所名称,并初步感知问路指路用语。

Step3: While- listening

1. Listen and choose.

(1)Where dose the tourist want to go? (ABC )

A. Wangfujing Dajie

B. A bookshop

C. The National Stadium

D. The Summer Palace

2. Listen and fill in the blanks.

(1) Can you tell me the way to Wangfujing Dajie?

Go ______ Dong Chang’an Jie, go _____ the street and turn ____ at

the third street on the left. It’s near here, so you can _____ there.

(2) Is there a bookshop near here?

Yes, there is. The big bookshop is just along Xi C hang’an Jie, on the right,

opposite the bank.

(3) Listen to Part Two and choose.

Go (along \ across) the street and you will see (an underground\ a bus)

station. Take the underground to the Olympic Sports Centre, or you can

take a bus or a taxi.

3. Watch the video and understand the conversation.

Step4 Post-listening

1. Practise in pairs.

A:Excuse me!Can you tell me the way to Wangfujing Dajie?

B: Certainly. Go across Dong Chang’an Jie, go along the street and turn left at the third street on the left. It’s near here, so you can walk there.

A: Thank you very much.

B: You’re welcome.

【设计意图】依据提示词和观察地图让学生练习复述对话,帮助学生理解对话内容,为下一步灵活运用目标语句交际做好铺垫。

2. Finish the mind map.

【设计意图】引导学生制作思维导图,培养良好的思维习惯,掌握有效的学习方法。

Step5 Development

Practise in groups.
