3. Ss will be able to read and understand the passage, then answer the questions.
4.Ss will be able to give some suggestions with “must, don’t”

Step 1 Warm up
1.Let’s sing: How do you come to school?
2.Free talk:How do you come to school?
You must pay attention to the traffic lights and obey the traffic rules.
Step 2 Presentation
1.T: I will pay attention to the traffic lights and obey the traffic rules
when I travel.
I like travel. I have traveled many places in China. We know, different places have different ways to go to school.
2. My travel
1)Show a map of China
Show four places: Changxing, Beijing, Heilongjiang, Zhuhai.
I get to Beijing from Changxing by train.
I get to Hei Longjiang from Beijing by plane.
I get to Zhuhai from Hei Longjiang by plane.
2). Some children go to school by subway in Beijing, China.
In Hei Longjiang, China, it snows a lot. Some kids go to school by sled.
Some children in Zhuhai, China, go to school by ferry every day.
3. Robin’s travel
1) Wu Yifan’s grandpa is ill. What does Robin want to do?
He wants to read a magazine to him.
2)Task 1 Listen and choose
How many ways to go to school in the magazine?
3) Show a map of the world.
Introduce the four places with pictures. Present the text in four parts.

我本课思考:
我先以一首歌来warm up. 然后与学生free talk来复习之前学过的内容,这样可以调动非主动参与型“学困生”的积极性,让他们也有机会表现自己。

然后以“ I will pay attention to the traffic lights and obey the traffic rules when I travel. I like travel. I have traveled many places in China. We know, different places have different ways to go to school.”来导入,首先以“My travel”我的旅行来把本课的新词和新句型呈现出来,以此来消除学生之后在自己读课文文本时的障碍。

然后以“Robin’s travel”来引出本课课文,虽然爷爷生病不能出门,但是Robin可以读杂志给他听,让他以书本为媒介进行心灵的旅行。

最后拓展环节,我利用电影飞屋环游记的场景,来设计”Your travel”让学生根据所给的图片,运用所学的句型来写一段话。

在小组合作当中,所有的非主动参与型“学困生”都能与优等生们讨论,即使有的还不会说,但是至少也都参与进去了,整个课堂的分层教育显得很恰当,课堂氛围也很融洽。
