Lesson Objectives
➢To introduce and practice vocabulary related to healthy and unhealthy foods and drinks.
➢To teach the grammar structure "Is...?" questions and their short form answers.

Teaching Procedures
1. Warmup and Introduction
(1)Begin by asking students about their breakfast. Encourage them to
describe what they had.
(2)Introduce the topic of the lesson by throwing a question: "Is your
food and drink healthy?"
2. Vocabulary Introduction
1)Introduce new vocabulary related to healthy and unhealthy food and
drinks (e.g., fast food, junk food, salad, juice, soda, etc.)
2)Use flashcards to present and practice new words.
3. Grammar Focus: "Is...?" questions and their brief responses
(1)Introduce the structure of "Is...?" questions and their brief responses.
(2)Provide examples: "Is your food healthy?" –"Yes, it is." / "No, it isn't."
(3)Let students create sentences based on images of food and drink to
practice new grammar.
4. Textbook Activities
1)Guide students through the textbook reading where characters
discuss healthy and unhealthy food.
2)Play the audio recording. Have students listen and follow along.
3)Check prehension with Q&A session regarding key points in the
dialogue.
5. Interactive Activity: Healthy or Unhealthy?
(1)In pairs, students categorize a list of foods into "Healthy" or
"Unhealthy" columns.
(2)Encourage students to use plete sentences and the new vocabulary
