五、语法点
1.There be句型提问数量的特殊疑问句：
（1）名词可数时结构：How many+复数+are there+地点？回答“可单可复”：
如：问：How many books are there on the desk？
答：There are forty (books)./There is (only) one.
（2）不可数时问数量，用How much,如：How much milk is there in the glass?
2.序数词前必加the，the third girl第三个女孩
3.别人问某个房间在哪里时，回答会用到在第几层，表达在第几层时用介词on.
(例)Our classroom is on the second floor.我们教室在二楼。

4.Alice and I sing and dance.在说别人和自己时，一般先说别人，把我I放在后面。

5.It’s time for+名词。

It’s time to+动词。

(例) It’s time for dinner.=It’s time to have dinner.(是吃晚饭的时候了。

)
6.注意下面两个句子问答的区别。

(1)What’s on the desk?回答：There (is/are)...(What’s +地点？用There be句型回答，回答可单可复)
(2)What’s that on the desk?回答：It’s...（What’s this/that+地点？回答用It’s...复数亦是如此，What are these/ those +地点？回答用They’re...）
7.注意区分How many…can you see?和How many…are there…?(前者问“你能看见多少……？”用I can see...回答。

后者问“有多少……？”用There (is/are)...回答。

8.注意区分以下几种问句：
—Is this/that…?—Yes,it is./No,it isn’t.
—Is he/she…?—Yes, he/she is. / No, he/she isn’t.
—Is there…?—Yes,there is. / No, there isn’t.
—Are these/those/…?—Yes,they are. / No, they aren’t.
—Are there…?—Yes,there are. / No, there aren’t.
9.注意下面两个句型转换的区别
(1)There is a book on the desk.（对划线部分提问）
答：How many books are there on the desk?（对数量提问，用How many...）
(2)There is a book on the desk.（对划线部分提问）
答：What’s on the desk?（对整个主语提问，用What’s+地点？）
10.high和tall的区别：
high指事物相对地面的距离高度。

如：There is a high mountain.有座高山。

tall指一般用以指人、树、动物等的高度。

如：His brother is a tall man.他哥哥是个高个子。
