The Crow, the Father and the Son
One sunny day, a little boy named Timmy was playing in the backyard with his dad. They were tossing a ball back and forth and laughing. Timmy's mom called them in for lunch, but just as they were about to go inside, they heard a loud "Caw! Caw!"
They looked up and saw a big black crow sitting on the fence. The crow flapped its wings and cawed again. "That's a funny bird," said Timmy. "I wonder what it wants?"
Timmy's dad smiled. "I think the crow is just saying hello in its own way," he said. He bent down and picked up a piece of bread crust that had fallen on the ground. "Here you go, Mr. Crow," he said, tossing the crust towards the fence.
The crow eagerly gobbled it up. "Caw! Caw!" it squawked happily. Timmy laughed. He found some crumbs on the ground and threw them to the crow too. The crow seemed to really like the snacks!
From that day on, Timmy and his dad made sure to save some bread or crackers for their new feathered friend. The crow started visiting their backyard every day. Timmy named him Carl the Crow.
Carl would strut around and caw loudly until Timmy or his dad came out with some food scraps. Once he had eaten his fill, Carl would flap up to the fence or a nearby tree and just sit there watching them. Timmy thought it was funny how the crow seemed to be keeping an eye on them.
One weekend, Timmy's dad was working in the garage. Timmy was helping by handing him tools. Suddenly, Carl flew down and landed right beside them. He cawed loudly over and over.
"What's up, Carl?" asked Timmy's dad with a chuckle. "Are you looking for a handout?"
But Carl didn't stop cawing. He seemed upset about something. Then the crow flapped up and began circling above the garage, still cawing like crazy.
"I think Carl wants us to follow him," said Timmy. He could tell by the way the bird was acting that something was going on.
Timmy's dad put down his tools and they followed Carl out to the backyard. The crow landed near the old oak tree and cawed some more. Timmy and his dad went over to the tree and gasped.
There on the ground was a tiny baby bird, chirping weakly. It must have fallen from its nest high up in the tree! The poor little thing looked hurt.
"Oh no! We have to help it!" cried Timmy. Carefully, his dad scooped up the little bird in his big gentle hands. Sure enough, its wing looked a bit bent.
"This little guy needs to see a doctor," said Timmy's dad grimly. "The vet clinic is still open. Let's take him there right away."
In the car, Timmy cradled the baby bird while his dad drove. Carl the Crow somehow knew what was happening and flapped along behind them, cawing the whole way.
At the vet clinic, the nice doctor took a look at the little bird. She made a little splint for its wing and said they would have to keep it for a few weeks until it could fly again. She assured them the little one would be just fine once it healed up.
Carl hung around outside the whole time, pacing back and forth. When Timmy and his dad came out of the clinic, the crow greeted them with loud caws.
"I think Carl was worried about the baby bird and tried to get our help," said Timmy in amazement. "He's smarter than we thought!"
Timmy's dad nodded. "Animals look out for each other in their own way," he said. "Carl is a good friend."
A few weeks later, they went back to the vet clinic to pick up the baby bird. Its wing had healed nicely. The doctor said they could release it back into the wild near where Carl's nest was.
Timmy carefully carried the little bird out to their backyard. Carl landed on the fence, watching closely. Timmy lifted the bird up towards the tree, and it gave a few flaps of its wings before soaring up to the higher branches. Carl immediately flew up there too, circling around and cawing joyfully.
"Bye bye, little bird!" called Timmy happily. "Thanks for looking out for it, Carl!"
From then on, Timmy and his dad shared a special bond with their clever crow friend. Whenever they saw Carl swoop down into their backyard, they knew he was just stopping by to say
hello and maybe get a little snack. They were proud of the crow for being such a good neighbor and looking out for others in the animal community. Thanks to Carl, they had learned that animals are smarter and kinder than some people think!

Once upon a time there was a daddy and his little boy walking in the woods. The boy loved nature and animals. He was always looking for cool critters to watch.
On this day, they saw a big black crow sitting on a tree branch. The crow was cawing loudly. "Caw caw caw!" it squawked over and over.
"Look dad, it's a crow!" exclaimed the boy excitedly. "I've never seen one up close before."
"That's right son," said the dad. "Crows are very intelligent birds. They can use tools and remember faces."
The boy thought that was super neat. He wished the crow would come closer so he could try talking to it.
Suddenly, the crow did something totally crazy! It opened its beak and a shiny ring fell out onto the ground. The boy couldn't believe his eyes.
"Wow, did you see that dad?" he gasped. "The crow dropped a ring from its mouth!"
The dad nodded. "I saw it too. How bizarre! I wonder where it got that ring from?"
The boy rushed over and picked up the ring. It was made of gold and had a beautiful ruby in the middle.
"This ring looks really valuable," said the boy. "I want to try giving it back to the crow to see if it wants it."
So the boy held out the ring near the tree where the crow was perched. But the crow just stared at him and cawed loudly. It didn't seem to want the ring back at all.
"I guess the crow doesn't want this ring anymore," said the boy. "Maybe we should take it home and try to find its owner."
The dad agreed that was a good idea. As they turned to leave, the crow started wildly flapping its wings and cawing like crazy!
"Caw caw caw caw CAWWWW!" it screeched, seeming very upset.
"I think the crow does want that ring after all," said the dad. "Why don't you leave it on the ground over there and we'll see what happens."
So the boy placed the ring carefully on the forest floor and he and his dad backed away. To their amazement, the crow immediately flew down and scooped up the ring in its beak!
But then the crow did another crazy thing. Instead of flying away with its precious ring, it started hopping along the ground right in front of the boy and his dad, leading them deeper into the woods.
"Hey dad, I think the crow wants us to follow it!" exclaimed the boy. He was thrilled by this adventure.
The dad felt a bit unsure, but he trusted his son's judgement when it came to animals. So they followed along as the crow kept hopping ahead of them, still gripping the ring tightly in its beak.
After about ten minutes of this, the crow stopped in a small clearing. It dropped the ring on the ground, then flew up into a nearby tree and started cawing frantically.
"Caw caw caw CAW CAW"
That's when the boy and his dad noticed something very strange caught in the branches right where the crow was perched. It looked like...a human arm?!
"Oh my goodness, dad!" cried the boy. "There's a person trapped up there in that tree!"
The dad sprung into action, quickly climbing up to rescue whoever was stuck in the tree branches. To their relief, it was an elderly man who seemed to be unconscious but still breathing.
With the dad's help, they were able to get the old man down safely. As he regained consciousness, the first thing he did was feel around in panic, desperately searching for something.
The boy quickly realized what he was looking for and picked up the ring from where the crow had left it.
"Is this your ring, mister?" he asked, holding it out.
The old man's eyes filled with tears of relief and joy. "Oh thank you, thank you!" he exclaimed as the boy placed the precious ring in his hand.
It turned out the man was a wealthy jeweler who had gotten lost while hiking in the woods. He'd gotten stuck in the tree and lost his ring, his most prized possession. If not for the clever crow
finding them and leading them there, he may never have been rescued or reunited with his ring.
From that day on, the boy's family became great friends with the old jeweler. And they always made sure to look out for their new feathered friend, the brilliant and heroic crow, whenever they went walking in the woods.

The Crow, the Father, and the Son (Part 2)
One sunny day, little Timmy was playing outside when he saw a big black crow land on the fence. Timmy remembered the story his dad told him about a wise old crow that helped a father and son. He wondered if this was the same amazing bird!
"Hello Mr. Crow!" Timmy called out. "Are you the one who solved that riddle and helped the guy and his son?"
The crow cocked its head and stared at Timmy with its beady black eyes. "Caw!" it screeched in reply.
Timmy took that as a yes. "Wow, you're so cool!" he gushed. "Can you tell me the whole story again? I want to hear all the details."
The crow fluffed its feathers importantly. Timmy sat down cross-legged, ready to listen closely. He imagined the crow was about to speak perfect English and tell an amazing tale.
"Well, it happened a long time ago on a country road," the crow began in a gravelly voice. "There was a father and his young son traveling along. They didn't have a car or even a horse. They only had an old donkey to ride."
Timmy nodded along raptly, picturing the scene. A father, son, and donkey ambling down a dusty path in the olden days.
"As they were walking, they passed through a village," the crow continued. "Some people made fun of them, saying 'Look at those fools! Why isn't the son riding the donkey while it's so hot out?'"
"That's not very nice," Timmy frowned.
"No, it wasn't," the crow agreed. "So to avoid any more insults, the father told his son to climb up on the donkey's back. But then, a little further on, another group of people started mocking them too!"
Timmy gasped. "What did they say?"
"They said 'Can you believe that lazy boy, riding while his poor old father has to walk?'" the crow recounted. "The father
didn't want any more trouble, so he told his son to get off the donkey and he climbed up to ride instead."
"I'll bet those mean people still weren't happy," Timmy said knowingly.
The crow bobbed its head. "You're right, Timmy. They passed through the next village and heard people saying 'Look at that elderly man! How rude of him to ride while the young boy has to struggle on foot in this heat!'"
Timmy shook his head in disbelief. "Geez, they just couldn't win! What did they do?"
"Well, the father didn't want any more ridicule," the crow explained. "So he decided they should both ride the donkey together. But you can probably guess what happened next..."
Timmy could guess. "The people made fun of them again?"
"Exactly," the crow confirmed with a caw. "As they entered the next town, folks started yelling 'How cruel! That poor little donkey is being weighed down with two riders on its back!'"
"Oh no!" Timmy cried. "Those people were real meanies! What did the dad and son do after that?"
The crow paused for dramatic effect. "The father was just so frustrated and upset by then. He didn't know what to do to avoid all the ridicule. So he asked his young son for advice on how to keep everyone happy."
Timmy furrowed his brow, trying to think what the solution could be. "Hmm, I don't know...did the son figure it out? What did he say?"
"The wise young son said..." the crow's voice grew solemn. "...'Father, we cannot please everyone, no matter what we do. As long as we know we are not doing anything wrong, we should not worry what others say or think.'"
Timmy's eyes went wide. "Whoa...that kid was really smart!"
The crow nodded sagely. "Indeed he was. Finally, the father realized his son was right. From then on, they just focused on their own journey and ignored any criticism or mocking from the people in the villages."
"Wow..." Timmy was in awe. "That's an awesome story, Mr. Crow! Thanks for telling it to me again. I'll always remember the wise lesson that you can't please everyone, so you shouldn't worry about what other people think!"
"Caw caw!" The crow flapped its wings in approval of Timmy understanding the moral of the tale. It gave one last nod, then flew off down the street.
Timmy watched it go, feeling lucky to have heard the amazing story straight from the crow's beak. He couldn't wait to tell his dad and friends all about his special encounter!

A Crow, a Father, and His Son
One sunny day, a little boy named Timmy was walking home from school with his dad. Timmy loved spending time with his dad and listening to his funny stories. As they were walking, Timmy's dad pointed up at a black crow sitting on a telephone wire.
"Did you know that crows are one of the smartest animals?" said Timmy's dad. "They can use tools, solve problems, and even remember human faces!"
Timmy looked at the crow with new interest. "Wow, that's so cool! I want to learn more about that smart little birdy."
His dad smiled and began telling a story...
A few days ago, I was eating my lunch in the park. I had just taken a big bite of my sandwich when suddenly, that same black crow flew down and landed right in front of me! I couldn't believe how brave and curious he was.
The crow cocked his head from side to side, looking at me with his beady little eyes. Then he let out a loud "CAW! CAW!" as if to say "Hey you! Share your food with me!"
I laughed out loud. "You're a pretty bold little fella, aren't you?" I said to the crow. I tore off a small piece of my sandwich and tossed it towards him. The crow eagerly snatched it up in his beak and gobbled it down.
After that, the greedy little crow wouldn't leave me alone! He just kept cawing and cawing, asking for more and more. I tossed him a few more bits of my sandwich, but I was starting to run out. "Sorry buddy, that's all I can spare," I told the insistent bird.
But the crow had other plans. Using his beak, he picked up a small twig from the ground. Then he did the most amazing thing - he stuck the twig into the paper bag my sandwich came in and started jabbing and poking around inside!
I watched with my eyes wide open, completely amazed. This clever little crow was using the twig like a tool to try and get at
the last few crumbs in the bag. I'd never seen anything like it before!
After working the twig around for a while, the crow finally managed to scoop out a few more morsels, which he gulped down hungrily. He let out a satisfied "CAW!" and then looked up at me again, almost like he was asking "Got any more?"
"You're one smart little guy, aren't you?" I said with a laugh, shaking my head in disbelief. Just then, I noticed an elderly couple walking by. They had stopped to watch the whole scene unfold with the crow and the sandwich bag. The woman was giggling behind her hand.
"Say, did you see what that clever bird just did?" I asked them. "He was using a twig like a tool to get at the last few crumbs! I've never seen anything like that before from a bird."
The man smiled and nodded. "Yes, we saw it all! Crows are extremely intelligent animals. In fact, there are many examples of crows demonstrating remarkable problem-solving abilities and tool use."
He pulled out his phone and pulled up some photos and videos. "Look at this - here's a crow bending a wire into a hook to reach food from a pitcher. And this video shows crows putting
hard nuts and shells on the road so car tires can crack them open."
I was totally amazed. "I had no idea crows were so smart! That's incredible." I looked over at the crow, who seemed rather proud of himself for wowing us all with his skills. From that day on, I gained a whole new appreciation for those clever little birds.
And that's the story of how a crow used his smarts to get the last few crumbs from my sandwich bag! Timmy's dad finished with a chuckle. "Pretty impressive little fella, wouldn't you say?"
Timmy's eyes were wide with excitement. "Wow! That's the coolest story ever! I can't believe that little birdie was so smart." He looked at the crow on the telephone wire with new admiration. "I'm going to look for crows using tools from now on."
Just then, the crow spotted something on the ground. He flew down and picked up a small piece of aluminum foil with his beak. Timmy and his dad watched, holding their breath, as the clever bird located a nearby puddle. He reached his beak into the water, letting the foil get soaked.
Then, the crow flew back up to the telephone wire and started tapping and bending the wet foil with his beak, shaping it
into a little dish! Timmy and his dad gasped, totally amazed at the crow's ingenuity.
Once the makeshift dish was formed, the crow dropped it below onto the sidewalk. He flew down and used the little foil dish to scoop up some spilled birdseed he had discovered on the ground. After enjoying his snack from the dish, he picked it back up in his beak and flew off, no doubt to reuse his handy little tool.
"Did... did you see that?!" Timmy exclaimed, hardly able to believe his eyes. "That little birdie made a dish out of foil so he could eat the seeds! He's even smarter than in your story!"
Timmy's dad was also in awe, shaking his head slowly. "You know, I thought crows were smart before, but clearly their intelligence was even greater than I realized." He looked down at Timmy with a grin. "It just goes to show - we should never underestimate the problem-solving abilities of our feathered friends."
From that day on, Timmy and his dad made a game of watching for crows wherever they went, hoping to spot more examples of the birds using creative tools and solving problems with their quick wits. In school, Timmy loved sharing stories and facts about the amazing crows with his classmates.
And they would always keep a special look out for that one particular brilliant black crow, soaring overhead with his latest clever tool grasped in his beak - a true master of the animal kingdom's inventors and problem-solvers.

The Clever Crow and the Greedy Father and Son
One sunny day, there was a very hungry crow flying over a village. He was looking for some food to eat. Suddenly, he saw a man and a little boy walking on the road below him. The crow watched them carefully.
The man was holding a bag and the little boy was skipping along next to him, humming a happy tune. The crow had a clever idea! He found a rock and carried it up high in the sky with his beak. Then he dropped the rock right in front of the man and boy!
The rock landed on the ground with a loud THUMP! The man and boy were very surprised. "What was that?" cried the boy, looking up at the sky. The crow cawed loudly from up above to get their attention.
The man looked up and saw the crow circling overhead. He realized the crow must have dropped the rock! "You naughty bird!" he shouted, shaking his fist. "You're trying to hit us with that rock! Well I'll teach you a lesson." He picked up the rock, ready to throw it back at the crow.
But the clever crow wasn't going to let that happen! While the man was distracted, the crow swept down and SNATCHED the bag right out of his hands with his talons! Then the crow quickly flew up to the safety of a tall tree branch, the bag hanging from his claws.
"Hey! That's my bag! Come back here!" yelled the man, throwing the rock but completely missing the crow. The boy started crying at the sight of the mean crow stealing their bag. But the crow just cawed and ripped the bag open with his beak. Out tumbled some fresh bread rolls!
The crow had been so hungry, and now he could finally eat! He gobbled up one roll after another, flapping his wings happily. "Mmm, mmm!" he cawed with his mouth full. He felt very proud of his clever trick.
Meanwhile, the father and son just stared in disbelief. The greedy man could not believe that stupid bird had outwitted him
and stolen his food. He picked up some more rocks and threw them, but the crow was too high up to reach.
"You thief! You'll pay for this!" screamed the man, hopping with rage. But he could do nothing as the crow devoured the last delicious roll.
When the bag was completely empty, the crow picked it up again and gave it one last shake to get any crumbs. Then he flew a little lower, dangling the bag in front of the angry father and son. "Want your stupid bag back?" he cawed cheekily, his feathers puffed out proudly.
The man grabbed a big stick off the ground and took a swipe at the crow to knock it out of the tree. But the crow was too quick, and easily avoided the stick. "Ha ha, you missed me!" he cawed loudly. He circled a few more times, just to tease them some more.
Finally, with one last mocking caw, the crow dropped the bag on the ground at their feet. He had gotten what he wanted - a full stomach! As the furious man and boy glared after him, the clever crow flapped his wings and soared away to find his next meal.
From that day on, whenever a crow cawed nearby, the boy shuttered. He could never forget the mean, tricky bird that had made a fool of him and his father. And he vowed that no crow would ever steal his food again!
The End

A Crow's Kindness
One sunny day, me and my dad were walking down the path by the creek in the woods. We had gone on a little hike to get some fresh air and spend time together. As we strolled along, we heard a strange "caw caw" sound coming from nearby. We looked up and saw a big black crow sitting on a branch above us.
"Hey, look at that!" I said, pointing up at the crow. "I've never seen one up that close before."
"Yes, that's quite a sight," my dad replied. "Crows are very intelligent birds. Let's see what it does."
The crow flapped its wings and flew down lower on the branch, still cawing at us. It seemed to be looking right at us with its shiny black eyes.
"I think it wants us to follow it or something," I said, feeling a little spooked. Talking crows are the kinds of things you hear about in storybooks, not real life!
But sure enough, the crow took off again, flying a little further up the path before landing on another tree. It looked back at us and cawed some more, like it was calling to us.
"Should we follow it, Dad?" I asked, unsure if it was a good idea to go chasing after a crow acting so weird.
"Why not?" my dad said with a smile. "This could be an adventure. But we have to be careful, of course."
So we headed up the path after the crow. It kept flying from tree to tree, waiting for us to catch up, then flying ahead again. I couldn't believe we were actually following this bird! But I was also getting really curious about where it wanted to lead us.
After about ten more minutes of this, the crow flew up and over a little ridge. We climbed up after it and that's when we saw a terrible sight - there was a boy laying on the ground not moving at all! The crow was circling above him, still cawing loudly.
"Oh no!" my dad cried, rushing over to the boy. "Son, quick, call emergency services on your phone!"
I pulled out my phone with shaking hands and dialed 911, telling the operator what we had found. An ambulance was sent right away.
As we waited for it to arrive, my dad checked over the boy. He had been hiking too and looked like he fell and hit his head on a rock. The boy was unconscious and bleeding pretty badly.
The crow kept flying around and cawing like it was trying to get our attention still. I think it was THIS boy that the crow had found and wanted us to help!
Finally, the ambulance came and the boy was loaded in and taken to the hospital. The crow watched from a nearby tree as they drove away.
At the hospital later, the doctor told us that the boy had a severe concussion but would be okay with some rest and treatment. He said it was so lucky that we had found him when we did in those woods. If we hadn't come along, the boy could have died from the head injury!
On the way out of the hospital, my dad stopped to look up at a crow that was perched on a lamp post.
"You know, I think that crow is the same one that led us to that boy," he said. "It really did seem intent on getting our attention and showing us where he was."
"You mean the crow SAVED his life by getting us to find him?" I asked in amazement.
My dad nodded. "Crows are one of the smartest animals. And this one was definitely trying to get help for that injured boy. We may have just witnessed an incredible act of animal intelligence today."
I looked up at the crow with a big smile. "Thank you, Mr. Crow!" I called out, waving at it. The crow bobbed its head and cawed back at me, almost like it was saying "you're welcome!"
As we walked to the car, I felt so amazed by what happened.
A crow using its smarts to get help for someone in trouble - who would have thought? I'll never look at crows the same way again. They aren't just smart, they're heroes! And from that day on, me and Dad have tried to always be alert and follow our instincts, just like that brave little crow did.
The end!。
