Fm very glad to be standing here and show my lesson. I hope y ou can enjoy it.
Today, Fm going to talk about Unit 1, New Standard English, B ook2. 'They are monkeys”・This unit includes three parts: "Listen and poi nt.” “Listen and say: and "Ask and answe匚"
In activity 1, it mainly deals with the dialogue about "What,s thi s?" "What are they?" and the answers; in activity 2, it practice the
Ss,speaking abilities. And in activity 3 it provides a real situation to practice the pattern: "What are they?" and the answer: They ar e.…
My teaching objects are pupils in Grade 3. English is a new subj ect for them, many boys and girls are exposed to English for the f irst time. So they have a deep keen and they're curious to learn E nglish.
As we all know: the main instructional aims of learning English in primaiy school is to cultivate pupils9 basic abilities of listening and speaking and their good sense of the English language・ The ne w course standards tell us: the Ss, abilities of using language are b ased on 5 aspects: They are: Language abilities; Language knowledge; Emotion attitu des: Learning strategies and culture consciousness
So according it and combining the situation I make the teaching aims of
this lesson as follows :
IL Teaching aim
1.First Aims are on the knowledge
a To enable the Ss to learn and speak words: “ monkey” "tiger” T ion” "elephant” "big” "small” "faL and make sure they can pronou nee them correctly.
b To enable Ss to learn the pattern “What are they?” and the answ er '"They are•…^Make sure then can use them in real situations・
c Let the Ss to describe the animals by themselves.
2.Second aims are on the abilities
a To develop Ss' abilities of listening and speaking・
b To train the Ss' ability of working in groups.
c To foster Ss,abilities of conmiunicatioii an

3.Third Aims are on the emotion
a To foster Ss' consciousness of good co-operation and proper com petitio n.
b To lead Ss to love animals and protect the environment.

In this lesson Fll mainly use "Task-based^ teaching method・ Th at is to say, I will let the Ss learn in real situations, in order to h elp them get a better understanding of the key structure of the dial ogue・ At the same time, seeing and see hearing method, discussing method will be used too. Practice these words by playing game listen and touch pictures on the blackboard.
Purpose: proper competition can arouse the Ss interest in learning English

Puipose: Rhythm can stimulate the brain of people and chant can get Ss to learn sentence naturally. So in this step

Purpose: Task-based teaching method is used here to develop S s ability of the communication and also their ability of co-operatio n will be well trained.
