2.阅读下面的短文,在下表中填入恰当的内容完成阅读摘记。
Marco Polo was from Venice, Italy. In 1271, at the age of 17, Marco went on a trip with his father and uncle to China. Today people often travel to different places around the world. But it was very hard for people from Europe to visit China then. After three and a half years, the Polos reached China in 1275.
While he was there, Marco Polo worked for Kublai Khan, the emperor of China. He was able to learn and experience many things that were new to Europeans. In his diary, he wrote, "Kublai Khan's palace is the greatest I've ever seen. The streets of the new capital, Dadu, are so straight and so wide." Paper money also took him by surprise, since it was not yet in use in the West at that time. Homes were heated with "bla ck stones… which burn like wood." Those stones were coal, and most of the Europeans knew little about it then.
After 17 years in China, Marco and his family finally returned to Venice. After he returned home, Marco completed a book called The Travels of Marco Polo, full of facts about his wonderful experiences in China.
⑴________ ⑵________ ⑶________ ⑷________

⑶根据After 17 years in China, Marco and his family finally returned to Venice可知他在中国呆了17年才回到威尼斯,结合第一段中的the Polos reached China in 1275可知他们在1275年到达中国,所以1275+17=1292,故答案为1292。
⑷根据文章最后一句full of facts about his wonderful experiences in China可知书中记叙的是他在中国的经历。
故答案为experiences。
【点评】任务型阅读的关键在看懂文章,然后根据题目要求作答,注意尽量用文章的语言填写答案。

7.阅读下面短文,并用英语回答问题(请注意每小题后面的词数要求)。
Much meaning can be carried clearly with our eyes,so it is often said that eyes can speak. Do you have such kind of experience? On a bus you may look at a stranger, but not too long. And if he finds that he is being looked at, he may feel uncomfortable. It's the same in daily life. If you are looked at for more than necessary, you will look yourself up and down, to see if there is something wrong with you. If nothing goes wrong, you will feel angry toward the person who is looking at you that way. Eyes do speak, right?
Looking too long at someone may seem to be impolite. But sometimes things are different. If a man looks at a woman for more than 10 seconds, it may mean that he wishes to attract her attention, and to make her understand that he loves her. When two people are in a conversation, the speaker will only look at the listener from time to time, in order to make sure that the listener does pay attention to what he or she is saying. Lovers will enjoy looking at each other or being looked at for a long time, to show something that words cannot express.
Clearly, eye contact(接触)should be done according to the relationship between two people and the place where you stay.
(1)What can your eyes carry clearly according to the passage?(不超过5个词)

根据第二段第二行句子When two people are in a conversation, the speaker will only look at the listener from time to time, in order to make sure that the listener does pay attention to what he or she is saying. 当两个人在谈话时,说话者只会不时地看着听者,以确保听者确实注意到他或她在说什么,可知为了确保听者注意他或她所说的话,故答案为To make sure that the listener does pay attention to what he or she is saying.。

Have you ever heard the saying "There is no place like home!" This is just another way of saying that home is a very special place. Our bedroom, our family, our pets, and all of the things we love are at home.
Is home a place where you can relax and have fun? Is home a place where you get all of your best thinking done? Being at home means different things to different people. As people grow older, home usually represents more responsibility (责任)because it needs care inside and out. Who takes care of all of these things in your home? How do you help out?

The kitchen, the bedrooms, the living room and the bathroom each have their own use. Suppose your house does not have a roof and you are a bird flying over it, what does your house look like? Think about it. Some people might say that family and food are two of the best parts of being home. At home, you can tell your parents about your day, play with your pets, and grab a snack from the cupboard of fridge. You can relax in your room and read a book or play a game.
