Beauty is a subjective concept, with different definitions depending upon individual perspectives. Generally speaking, beauty consists of attributes that gain favor with a viewer, and can include physical attributes, such as shape, size, color and texture. For example, one can appreciate the beauty of a sunset with its spectacular array of colors.
In terms of human beauty, which often appears in magazines and advertisements, standards have varied across cultures and time.Yet, for centuries and across cultures, physical beauty has been associated with qualities such as youth, good health, fitness and an average body proportion. What’s more, a quality most appreciated is how a person carries herself, or himself, with grace, assurance, and confidence.
In my opinion, true beauty lies within us, as opposed to what is seen on the outside. As long as we are kind and generous, generous with our compliments, generous with our love and generous with our time, then we are beautiful inside and out. True beauty resides in the way a person interacts with others, and how she or he cares for the people around them. A person’s inner beauty is the assurance and confidence they radiate.It can also be seen in the actions a person takes to uplift another, such as holding an elderly neighbor’s hand, taking the time to befrien d someone who is lonely, or giving a meal to someone who is hungry.
In conclusion, beauty is an abstract concept that appears in many different forms. Whether it is physical,
inner or even spiritual, beauty is something that should be appreciated, celebrated and appreciated in everyone.。
