一、根本结构
建议信的主体局部是正文，其结构如下：
第一局部：写信的目的及建议的理由。

可以包括某种现象或危害，然后很自然地引出建议的理由，理由要合情合理，语气得当，委婉且有礼貌。

其次局部：建议的内容。

依据问题所在有针对性地提出建议，同时可以适当地阐述这种建议的理由，以使人信服和接受。

第三局部：盼望对方接受并表示感谢。

二、增分佳句
(一)建议信的开头常用句式——提出观点
1．I am writing to express my views about ...
2．You have asked for my advice on ...and I will try to make some suggestions.
(二)建议信的主体常用句式——建议内容
1．If I were you, I would ...
2．I would like to suggest that ...
3．It would seem to me that you could ...
4．I think it would be more beneficial if you could ...
5．In my opinion, you should ...
6．In my experience, it seems that ...
(三)建议信的结尾常用句式——表达盼望
1．I hope you will take my advice into account.
2．I hope you will find these proposals/remendations practical/helpful.

假设你叫李华，你的伴侣Johnson想和家人来中国定居，请你帮他在A、B两座城市中做出选择。

下列图是这两座城市在就业、消遣和环境等方面的比照状况。

请依据相关信息用英语给他写封电子邮件，提出你的建议并说明理由。

词数100左右。

留意：
图表左边的数字说明白人们对这两座城市的宠爱程度。

第一步：审题构思很关键
一、审题
1．确定体裁：本文为建议信；
2．确定人称：本文的主要人称应为其次人称；
3．确定时态：主要使用一般将来时和一般现在时。

二、构思
第一局部，依据所给信息，给出建议。

其次局部，给出建议的三条理由：环境、消遣和就业。

第三局部，表达盼望。

其次步：核心词汇想周全
1．suitable/fit适合的
2．environment 环境
3．as_well_as 和；也
4．amusement/entertainment 消遣
5．in_your_spare_time 闲暇
6．enjoy_oneself/have_fun 玩得开心
7．employment 就业
8．opportunity/chance 时机
9．meet_with 获得；遇到
10．approval 赞成
第三步：由词扩句雏形现
1．A市更适合居住。

City A is more_suitable_to_live_in.
2．A市的环境和气候比B市好。

The environment as well as the climate in City A is_better_than_those in City B.
3．有许多休闲消遣的地方。

There are many places for_entertainment.
4．闲暇之余，你可以在那里玩得开心。

You can enjoy_yourself there in your spare time.
5．A市的就业时机不如B市好。

The opportunities for the employment are_not_so_good_as in City B.
6．由于你是英语老师，我认为这不是问题。

I don't think it's_a_problem_for_you as you are a teacher of English.
7．我盼望我的建议能得到您的认可。

I hope my suggestions will meet_with_your_approval.
第四步：句式升级造亮点
1．用The reason why ...is that ...连接句1和2
The_reason_why_City_A_is_more_suitable_to_live_in_is_that_the_environment_as_well_as _the_climate_in_City_A_is_better_than_those_in_City_B.
2．用where引导的非限制性定语从句连接句3和4
There_are_many_places_for_entertainment,_where_you_can_enjoy_yourself_in_your_spare _time.
3．用though引导的让步状语从句连接句5和6
Though_the_opportunities_for_the_employment_are_not_so_good_as_in_City_B,_I_don't_t hink_it's_a_problem_for_you_as_you_are_a_teacher_of_English.
第五步：过渡连接联成篇
Dear_Johnson，
After_a_careful_study_of_the_information_about_the_two_cities,_I_suggest_you_choose_to _live_in_City_A.
First_of_all,_the_reason_why_City_A_is_more_suitable_to_live_in_is_that_the_environmen t_as_well_as_the_climate_in_City_A_is_better_than_those_in_City_B．Besides,_there_are_man y_places_for_entertainment,_where_you_can_enjoy_yourself_in_your_spare__but_not_least,_tho ugh_the_opportunities_for_the_employment_are_not_so_good_as_in_City_B,_I_don't_think_it's_ a_problem_for_you_as_you_are_a_teacher_of_English.
