The Simple Past Tense
We use the simple past tense to talk about things in the past.
He was born in America in 2000.
He moved to Xuzhou in 2008.
肯定句 否定句 疑问句

When we want to express something is possible, we use can/could can/could ---- present; could --- past
(the possibility: can>could) e.g. Everything can/could come true if

He played tennis last week. He did not play tennis last week. Did he play tennis last week?

B "can " "could " ------- possibility
注意
• 当委婉表达 “请求” “要求”时,用 could。
而回答时,肯定用can.否定语气一般要 婉转,有时可说明不能的原因。如:

we use “can” to say that we are able to do something now. we use “could” to say that we were able to do something in
巧记动词过去时态
动词一般过去时,表示过去发生事; be用was或用were, have, has变had; 谓语动词过去式,过去时间坐标志; 一般动词加-ed,若是特殊得硬记。 否定句很简单,主语之后didn’t添; 疑问句也不难,did放在主语前; 谓语之前有did,谓语动词需还原; 动词若是was, were,否定就把not添。
