SPM8处理流程
SPM8 Processing Flow
1. Realignment: This is the process of image preprocessing used to correct for head movement during an fMRI experiment. The transformation parameters calculated by SPM during this process are used to realign the images to a reference image (i.e., the mean of all functional images). The “Realign” tab in SPM8 enables you to select the realignment method (default is “Realign”) or the “Smooth” option to smoothen the images.
2. Normalization: This is the process of setting the reference image to a consistent anatomical space for all participants. The “Normalize” tab in SPM8 allows you to choose a normalization method (default is “Normalize: Estimate & Write”) to normalize the T1 or template images.
3. Coregistration: Coregistration is the process of registering the functional image file with the anatomical image file. The "Coregister" tab in SPM8 enables you to coregister the functional images to the structural images and then prepare them for normalization.
4. Segmentation: Segmentation is the process of dividing an anatomical image into different tissue types. The “Segment” tab in SPM8 allows you to segment a structural image so that the different tissue types are detected and labeled.
5. Smooth: This is the process of “smoothing” the functional images to reduce the noise and increase the signal-
to-noise ratio. The “Smooth” tab in SPM8 enables you to select the type of smoothing (Gaussian, Sinc, FWHM) to produce the smoothed images.
6. Statistical Analysis: This is the final stage in the fMRI processing pipeline, where statistical tests are conducted to investigate the patterns of activation in the brain. The “Statistics” tab in SPM8 enables you to select the type of analysis (e.g., GLM, repeated measures) and the design matrix to analyze the data.。
