当江梦南获得2021年感动中国人物奖时，她说她最想感谢的是父母。
She was chosen along with nine other honorees on March 3 to receive the award given annually on China Central Television, which selects 10 models nationwide every year who spread positive energy and promote social integrity.
她说刚开始很难，上课的时候老师经常会背对学生在黑板上写字，所以小 梦南在课堂上错过了许多东西，她只好把黑板上的东西都抄下来，下课后 自己一个人学习，才能跟上同学的进度。

It was a slow, laborious process, but her parents never gave up and Jiang learned to speak.
When she was a toddler (学步的孩童), her parents began teaching her to read lips. They also taught her vocalization (发声) by putting her hands on their throats, so she could feel the vibration (震动) of their vocal cords (声带).
