1.Introduce the background knowledge:
the origin of Christmas:
Christmas is the day to memorate the birth of Jesus Christ
2.Make Ss familiar with some Christmas vocabulary:
(1)divide Ss into four groups
(2)show Ss 12 pictures related to Christmas
(3)ask Ss to speak out which words these pictures stand for group by
