Once upon a time there was a poor carpenter. He had a son, also called a carpenter, and both of them were very hard-working. But because their work was hard and the income was low, their life was very difficult.
One day, they decided to work far away in another town. The father warned the son not to talk to strangers, but the son was too curious and wanted to make new friends.
One morning, he met an old man on the way who asked him where he was going. The son told the old man, who said he also wanted to go to that town and asked if he could go with him. The son agreed.
The old man was very talkative, asking all sorts of questions, but the son was not talkative. When the old man asked for his name, the son said “Carpenter.”
The old man was very surprised and said, “What an incredible coincidence! I too am a carpenter!”

and life. The son was very pleased and thought that the old man was a very wise person.
When they arrived in the town, the old man gave him a bag of gold coins and said, “Take this and use it to help you and your father.”The son was very surprised and said, “But I don’t know who you are. How can I take this money?”
The old man replied, “You don’t have to know who I am. All you need to do is remember that even strangers can help you.”
The son thanked the old man and took the gold coins home to help him and his father.
