The efficacy of Alternative Energy (AE) is increasingly being put to the test as we look to the future of energy efficiency. Despite the enthusiasm around AE, there is still a need for accurate and objective information and guidance on its effectiveness. A recommendation on whether to invest in AE heavily or
not would be beneficial in helping to make decisions on investments in this field.
To enable such a recommendation, an assessment of the current use and
potential improvements of AE needs to be conducted.This will involve understandings of the most common sources and current level of efficiency. Further, an estimation of the environmental implications and potential
efficiency gains from investing in AE, such as an estimated reduction of
carbon emissions from the project, would be beneficial.
This primary information would be supplemented by the analysis of existing
case studies, both successes and failures. It would provide insights into the optimal strategies, technologies and configurations for successful AE projects. Such information would be invaluable in the creation of a recommendation.
Furthermore, an assessment of co-benefits and a projecting of future cost and energy savings, considering modelling of economic feasibility, would build a more complete picture of the true potential of AE. Including an analysis of
the regulations, incentives and rebates available to increase access to AE would also be useful.
Once the various factors have been captured, an objective recommendation on
the effectiveness of AE and feasible implementation can be created. Such a recommendation would prove invaluable in determining the worth of AE investments and unlocking their potential.。
