Ten-year-old Fred doesn’t think that the new teacher in town will last very long. After all， they never do. Most teachers who come to their one-room schoolhouse in Alaska leave at the first smell1 of fish. They all said that life there is just too hard.
十岁的弗雷德认为镇上的新老师不会坚持多久。

But will Miss Agnes be like all the rest and leave as quickly as she comes？
