Dear Diary,
Today was such a fun day! I went to the beach with my family and we played in the sand for hours. We even learned some new English words while we were at it.
At first, we just dug some holes and built sandcastles. But then my brother and I decided to try something new. We started making "sand angels." You know, like snow angels but in the sand. It was really cool and it made us laugh a lot. We even got our parents to join in and try it too.
While we were playing in the sand, we came up with some new English words to describe what we were doing. We learned the word "dig" and "bury" for when we were making holes and covering up our feet. We also learned the word "castle" and "moat" for when we were building our sandcastle masterpiece.
After a while, the sun started to set and it got a bit chilly. We decided to take a break from playing in the sand and go for a walk along the beach. We saw lots of interesting things, like seaweed and shells. We even found a jellyfish washed up on shore. It was kind of gross but also really cool to see up close.
As we walked, we practiced some more English words. We learned "seaside" and "coast" to describe the area where the land meets the water. We also learned "ocean" and "wave" to describe the big body of water in front of us.
When we got back to our towels, we decided to warm up by having a little picnic. We had some sandwiches and chips while looking out at the ocean. It was so peaceful and relaxing.
Overall, it was a really fun day at the beach. We got to play in the sand, learn some new English words, and enjoy each other's company. I can't wait to go back and do it all again.
