实验的背景是:当前,我国已进入知识经济时代。

在这种新形势下,在小学开设英语课,已成为我国与国际发展接轨的必然要求。

然而就农村小学而言,农村小学英语教学的最突出的问题是英语课堂基本是以教师的“教”为主,学生处于被动接受状态,这样就使课堂气氛沉闷,无法满足学生的学习兴趣,以致于学生产生厌倦心理,不愿意继续学习英语,羞于说英语。

实验的目标是:突出主体、师生互动、激发兴趣、培养自信、感受成功。

实验中,特别强调关注每个学生的情感,激发他们学习英语的兴趣,帮助他们建立学习的成就感与自信心,教师通过物资激励、
荣誉激励、信任激励和情感激励,鼓励学生积极参与学习活动,增强实践能力,发展综合运用语言的能力。

国内外相关研究综述:

A、热身
兴趣是最好的老师,开始上课,教师可以根据小学生的年龄特点通过合作互动的方式激起学生学习的兴趣,如:师生问候,生生自由谈话,值日生汇报,分角色唱歌、说儿歌,集体TPR活动等,让学生迅速地把精力集中到课堂上来,为后面的学习新知作好准备。

B、引入
这一环节是指在热身运动后,教师有目的地组织学生复习旧知识,并自然过渡到新知识,让学生不知不觉进入新知识学习状态,初步感知新知识。

C、操练
新知识呈现后,教师可采取师与生、生与生、全员活动的方式进行机械操练,如:师生对话,生当小老师教读,分组比赛,开火车练习等。

在此基础上,教师可让学生合作互动进行意义操练和交际操练,如:小组调查,自由组合对话,小组讨论等,学生在合作学习的过程中互帮互学,互相评价、激励,以达到互相促进,完成教学目标的目的。

这是合作互动教学模式的重要环节,教师应让学生来做主人,通
过分组活动、讨论、倾听、评价、激励和互为师生等方式使学生在“互动”中巩固并运用知识,教师只作适当的点拨、指导。

D、学习评价
这一环节主要是指教师在综合学生合作学习的效果的基础上给予学生评价。

评价要坚持以群体评价、激励性评价为主的原则。

评价的目的在于达到组内合作精神更强烈,组际竞争更激烈,从而激发学生的学习兴趣。

评价完后,教师可适当给获胜组(人)一些形象的奖励如:小奖牌,流动小红旗等,让学生觉得竞争是十分公平、正规、有挑战性的,从而更深地激起学生积极学习的兴趣。
