In 1999, once, I flew scheduled flight from Guangzhou to Chengdu. The type of the aircraft is A340 which has four engines. At first, everything was normal. We enjoyed a favoring flight. However, to our surprise, after the ATC controllers allowed us to do the final approach, we noticed that the master caution light lightened. At that time, the green hydraulic system low pressure, which meant we might encounter great trouble, as it was the most important system of the three hydraulic systems applied in the aircraft. So we informed the ATC controllers that we had problems with the green hydraulic system and asked for left hold pattern. They met our demand. During the process of left hold pattern, we performed ECAM action and QRH. After dealing with all the abnormal procedures, we reported to the dispatcher and the ATC controllers, and in the meanwhile, we asked preparation for trailer and ambulance on the ground. Then we asked ATC controllers to exist hold pattern and did our final approach . To our delight, we landed safely as well as successfully.
Tell me sth about yourself:
In 1989, I graduated from CAFUC and went back to the company---Air China Southwest Branch in Chengdu. In 1992, I became a first officer flying B737. One year later, I was trained in America and began to fly B757. To my delight, I became a captain in 1995. Three years later, I was trained in France, and from then on, I began to fly A340. In last June, I got simulator training of A330, so right now, I fly both types of aircrafts.
24、How to notify the tower about the wind shear?
First, control the aircraft calmly and build up the correct navigation and communication, and then we must report to the tower. This is the first choice (golden rules) for a pilot. And the captain will decide to hold or divert to the second approach.
25、What should the pilot do when he find the problem and how could ATC help? The pilot should control the aircraft at all cost, do the checklist, and have the correct navigation. Then do proper communications, report to controller about the situation of the plane and the intentions of the pilot. Then the pilot should follow the controller‟s instructions.
26、When do you think the plane is going to crash? And what would you do?
I think the plane is likely to crash during the critical phases of take-off and landing and in bad weathers,
First, I will make a correct judgment of the current situation, control the plane calmly, Assign each of the flight crew his own responsibility; I will do the check list and control the plane calmly.
27、What do you think is the most important thing in dealing with the unusual events? First to control the plane calmly, make correct judgments. Second, to order the flight crew to bear their own responsibilities, finally, we must report it to the control tower, and request the ground assistant.

In the first one, there are two aircrafts, colliding with each other, The left is B-737, and the right is B757, I know this accident, It was about in 1990 in Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, the left plane was hijacked and controlled by the hijacker, After landing, it slid off the runway, jumped onto the apron, and collided with the other holding there.
29、Why do it happen?
I think it was because of the hijack which had interrupted the control of the aircraft.
30、How could they have been avoid?
First and for most, in dealing with such situation, ensuring safety is the No1 principle, the pilot should not land blindly but to maintain safety first, if the hijacker want to fly to a place, the pilot should follow and fly to that place.
Then he can solve, the situation through other ways, like to inform the company or the airport representatives, and then we must fill the report on it.
