单位及部门名称英译

单位及部门名称英译概述单位部门名称在英语中属于专有名词范畴，其语用特征要求专词专用，所以一个单位只能使用一种译名（词语排列及组合、缩写形式都应该统一不变），如"中国银行"，英译：the Bank of China 缩写：B.O.C. ,而不能作任何更改，比如按字面译成：the Chinese Bank 或the China Bank，都是不妥当的。

按此原则，在翻译单位名称时，应首先查阅有关资料，确定是否有普遍接受的定译，尤其是政府机构的译名，更应采用中央有关部门对外正式名称，绝不能按字面即兴翻译，以致出现一个机构数个译名的混乱状况。

按照英语语法，专有名词的词首字母应大写，但是像of、the、and等虚词一般小写，如"黄岩区人民政府"，英译：the People's Government of Huangyan District。

单位名称中包含地名或人名的，应用汉语拼音，如上例中的"黄岩"，应音译为Huangyan,而不能采用意译。

单位名称中包含的企业字号，使用汉语拼音是最为简便也最为保险的方法，但绝不是最佳方法，详见本章4.4节。

目前，我国的单位按其性质可分为国家机关、事业单位及企业单位三类。

以下分别就这三类进行详述：4.2 国家机关英译4.2.1 机关名称英译分类词典由于国家机关本身内涵的确定性及严肃性，所以在英译时更要注重法定依据或权威依据。

本手册所收集的国务院下属机构的英译系转引自国务院办公厅秘书局二○○二年二月十九日印发的《国务院各部委、各直属机构英文译名》最新修订本，应属权威性的译名；未包含在上述修订本内的有关机构，则尽量采用该机构的官方自选英文名作为标准定译，如找不到标准定译，则转而根据"人民网"及"中国日报"等权威媒体上的英译，并参考英美等国相关机构英文名，斟酌选定。

按照英语语法，专有名词的词首字母应大写，但是像of、the、and等虚词一般小写，如"黄岩区人民政府"，英译：the People's Government of Huangyan District。

单位名称中包含地名或人名的，应用汉语拼音，如上例中的"黄岩"，应音译为Huangyan,而不能采用意译。

单位名称中包含的企业字号，使用汉语拼音是最为简便也最为保险的方法，但绝不是最佳方法，详见本章4.4节。

而随着对外经济和文化交流的日益频繁，英文名片的使用率和重要性也不断提高，一张用词得体、语法规范、表达准确的英文名片是跨国交际不可取代的中介。

第二章姓名英译2．1 英语姓名结构英语姓名的一般结构为：教名+自取名（中名）+姓。

George 是教名(Given Name)，按照英语民族的习俗，一般在婴儿接受洗礼的时候，由其牧师或父母亲朋为其取的名字，有点像中国的小名（乳名），但它是要叫一辈子的。

单位及部门名称英译

按照英语语法，专有名词的词首字母应大写，但是像of、the、and等虚词一般小写，如"黄岩区人民政府"，英译：the People's Government of Huangyan District。

单位名称中包含地名或人名的，应用汉语拼音，如上例中的"黄岩"，应音译为Huangyan,而不能采用意译。

北欧四国
北欧四国瑞典、芬兰、丹麦和挪威的认证统称为ＮＯＲDＩＣ认证，包括ＳＥＭＫＯ认证、ＦＩＭＫＯ认证、ＤＥＭＫＯ认证和ＮＥＭＫＯ认证，是进入这四个国家市场的必备条件。根据NORDIC认证协议，只要您的产品获得其中北欧四国中任何一个国家的认证，如果您还需要其余 3 个国家的认证，您不需要再提供产品进行检测，就可以轻易的取得证书。 Nordic产品认证范围包括：工业设备、机械设备、通讯设备、电气产品、个人防护用具等、家用产品。
法国

NF标志是指法国的产品认证制度。NF是法国标准的代号，其管理机构是法国标准化协会(AFNOR)。法国的NF标志是1938年开始实行的。1942年，法国国家经济财政部长级国务秘书、农业部长级国务秘书和工业生产国务秘书联合颁布了《国家标志章程》，从而进一步完善了NF标志制度。法国虽然是世界上开展产品认证较早的国家之一，但50多年来认证的产品品种还不很广泛。目前已获得NF标志的产品有近20000个。 NF标志制度主要适用于下列3类60多种产品：①家用电器；②家具； ③建筑材料；④管理体系。 NF标志是证明产品符合法国批准标准的一种法定质量符号。
英国

BSI是英国标准化协会。它成立于1901年，是一个非官方的民间学术团体。 BSI是英国认证机构委员会(NACCB)认可的认证机构之一。它从事工业产品认证工作的历史最悠久、认证的产品涉及面最广，是英国规模最大的认证机构。 BSI的产品认证标志有两种，一种是风筝标志，另一种是安全标志。带有风筝标志的产品表明该产品已经BSI认证检定，符合有关的 BSI标准规定的结构。使用BSI标志的许可证有效期为一年，每年更新一次。

单位及部门名称英译

按照英语语法，专有名词的词首字母应大写，但是像of、the、and等虚词一般小写，如"黄岩区人民政府"，英译：the People's Government of Huangyan District。

单位名称中包含地名或人名的，应用汉语拼音，如上例中的"黄岩"，应音译为Huangyan,而不能采用意译。

单位名称中包含的企业字号，使用汉语拼音是最为简便也最为保险的方法，但绝不是最佳方法，详见本章4.4节。

目前，我国的单位按其性质可分为国家机关、事业单位及企业单位三类。
