Unit6 单元教材分析

本单元Section A主要是通过谈论未来理想中的职业这一话题引出be going to结构表将来,并围绕这一话题练习what, when, where, how引导的特殊疑问句。

Section B:改为以新年计划为话题,当然这也是要用“be going to”来表达的,其中最重要的是阅读和写作部分,这部分较难。写作部分主要还是练习“be going to”。总之,整个单元围绕未来规划,以“be going to”为载体,分层次,通过听、说、读、写使学生逐步掌握本单元的目标语言。

Section A:la通过学生自主判断练习,复习所学的单词,同时引入新单词。并引起学生学习的兴趣。(这一活动需提醒学生注意cook是厨师,而cooker指厨具。)

1b通过听的方式呈现句型。1c口头练习目标用语的表达。教师应让学生注意职业前a与an的用法。

活动2a-2c通过一幅图片和一段听力练习进一步练习本单元的目标语言。这一部分更多地呈现了what、where、how、when 等问句练习,与Grammar Focus 的内容紧密相连,使学生能更清楚地理解“be going to”,要引导学生区别when引导的时间状语从句与when引导的特殊疑问句。

2d提供了练习目标语言的机会。

Grammar Focus是语法的归纳和总结。

3a:通过匹配正确句子来区别人称代词及练习be going to do。

3b:填空练习对话。

3c:填表并与同伴讨论。

Section B:是A部分的拓展和延伸,这一部分知识相对有难度。增加了词汇量,也加大了对目标语言的练习的广度和深度。

二、教学重难点

1. 教学重点:

1) 学习一般将来时态的构成方式。

2) 学习本课时出现的重点句型,通过在不同情景下运用来熟练运用一般将来时态。

2. 教学难点:

用一般将来时态表达自己未来的打算。

三、教学过程

Ⅰ. Lead-in

1. 介绍自己小时候想要从事的职业,由此归纳出以前所学过的一些职业的英语表达方式:

teacher, nurse, doctor, basketball player, runner, actor, actress…

2. 询问学生们想要从事的职业,从而引出句型:

─ What do y ou want to be when you grow up?

─ I want to be a basketball player.

3. 学生们看幻灯片,引导学生们进行问答自己将来所喜欢的职业。

Ⅱ. Presentation

1. 播放幻灯片,展示一些职业的图片,来引导学生们学习一些新的职业名词:

本句是含有时间状语从句的复合句。

grow up 长大;成熟;成长

是动词短语,相当于不及物动词,其后不跟宾语。
