• An arena of inter-lingual and intercultural interaction on topics of limitless interest; • Pragmatics can be done in different fashions; • Things beyond language can be pragmatically (contextually )treated; • Corpus has been and still will be of great importance to pragmatic interpretation; • Chinese scholars (though few) can be equally creative as westerns only if we correctly and wisely shape our topics of investigation; • To young scholars, working out appropriate ways of applying other people’s theory, asking the true and right questions is of paramount importance;
