Period ⅢDeveloping ideas

i'll keep e_ploring in the treasure house of knowledge to enrich myself. this summer i got out of the ivory tower and entered the real world. a publishing houseoffered me a part-time job in compilation and revision.at the beginning i was belittled by my colleagues. but they were really surprised when i translated seven english articles over 5,000 words on only one day.gradually, they began to look at me with respectful eyes. in their opinion i turned out to be a useful and trustworthy colleague.i also realize that only those who bring happiness for others can be truly happy. so i often take part in activities concerning public welfare. i once went to a barren mountain village with my classmates. we taught the kids there who could not afford school.while showing them how broad and how civilized the outer world is, i was deeply touched by their eagerness to learn, their honesty and their purity. i couldn't control my tears on the day when we left. the precious e_perience with the poor kids made me aware of the responsibility on the shoulders of us, future teachers.besides study and social practice, there are entertainments as well. i do body building every day, hoping to keep healthy and energetic. we also write a play and put it on in our spare time.campus life is the most splendid time. but different people have different choices. the majority of students cherish their beautiful season and cherish the hope that one day they'll become outstanding. but there are indeed some students still under ignorance. they gather together for eating, drinking or playing cards.they're busy in searching for a girlfriend or a boyfriend. they forget completely about their mission as college students and the hope of their motherland.finally, i do hope everybody can try their best to become aworthy citizen of the country. i do hope everybody can become the backbone of our nation and make great contributions to society! 5The first day of my high school lifeThe first day of high school life, I have some thoughts and feelings. The passage of time can always give people some special things. In the new environment, I feel a bit e_cited. Be able to recognize the new students and teachers is my greatest gains. In the ne_t three years, we will learn、work and progress together to make our dreams come true. I will have new friends, and share the joy and sadness with them. The process of learning is also a growing process.Similarly, I will also face many difficulties. I might have difficulties in learning and getting along with classmates , bearing some pressure in life. However, I will get stronger and get through every step of high school three years. 6Dear teachers and classmatesThis is the first day of the new semester. It's my honor to stand here and speak as a member of the class. All right, everybody go ahead and have a seat. How is everybody doing today? (Applause.) How about Tim Spicer? (Applause.) I am here with students at Wakefield High School in Arlington, Virginia. And we’ve got students tuning in from all across America, from kindergarten through 12th grade. And I am just so glad that all could join us today. And I want to thank Wakefield for being such an outstanding host. Give yourselves a big round of applause. (Applause.)I know that for many of you, today is the first day of school. And for those of you in kindergarten, or starting middle or high school, it’s your first day in a new school, so it’s understandable if you’re a little nervous. I imagine there are some seniors out there who are feeling pretty good right now -- (applause) -- with just one more year to go. And no matter what grade you’re in, some of you are probably wishing it were still summer and you could’ve stayed in bed just a little bit longer this morning.I know that feeling. When I was young, my family lived overseas. I lived in Indonesia for a few years. And my mother, she didn’t have the money to send me where all the American kids went to school, but she thought it was important for me to keep up with an American education. So she decided to teach me extralessons herself, Monday through Friday. But because she had to go to work, the only time she could do it was at 4:30 in the morning.开学英语演讲稿8Good morning teachers and fellow students.

或my dear…

在签名的上方可根据写信人和收信人的关系写sincerely yours/yours sincerely(用于长辈或朋友之间),或respectfully yours/yours respectfully(用于对长辈或上级),注意开头字母要大写,末尾要用逗号。

1Job Ad for a Money PersonHi, my name is Timmy and I want to tell you about a very important job opening at my school. We need to hire a new money person, which is also called a cashier. This person will be in charge of collecting money and keeping track of it really carefully. The most important part of being the school's money person is being really good at math. You have to be able to count money super fast and accurately. Even if there are a ton of coins and bills, you can't make any mistakes! The money person also has to be able to add, subtract, and do other math stuff without a calculator to make sure the numbers are right.Another key part of this job is handling the money safely and responsibly. The money person will get a special locked box or drawer to put all the money in. They have to make sure no money gets lost or stolen by being very careful and followingstrict rules about money safety. Keeping everything organized and in order is a must!So what kinds of money will the new money person be dealing with? Well, there's money from student fees, like the 5 we all pay at the start of the year for supplies. There's also cash from fundraisers like bake sales, car washes, and the events we have where people pay to do fun activities. Oh, and don't forget about money that teachers and staff pay for making copies, using the vending machines, and other little charges here and there. The best part about being the money person is you get to use that big cash register machine! It's just like what you see at stores and restaurants. You input the dollar amounts, hit the right buttons, and it calculates the total and shows you how much change to give back. The drawer pops open to get the bills and coins. It's a pretty cool machine if you ask me!Of course, the money person doesn't just take in money - they also have to pay it out sometimes. Like if a teacher needs 20 from the petty cash fund to buy supplies for their classroom. Or if we get a delivery of new playground balls, the guy who brings them has to be paid. The money person keeps careful records of everything that comes in and goes out.I probably don't need to say this, but the money person has to be really honest and trustworthy. They will be the one in charge of lots of cash, so we need someone with a great moral compass who won't be tempted to steal or misuse the funds. Having a conscience and doing the right thing is non-negotiable for this role. While handling money is definitely the meat and potatoes of this job, there are some other duties too. Like making bank deposits - the money person will have to prepare all the cash and checks to drop off at the bank's night deposit box on a regular basis. They'll also need to be comfortable using a computer for data entry to log all the transactions. Now for the fun part - who should apply for this very important position? Teachers and principals will be the ones looking at the applications and deciding who to hire. I'd recommend making your cover letter and resume look great - maybe use colored paper or stickers to jazz it up and make it eye-catching. Don't forget to smile and make a good first impression at the interview! You definitely want to highlight any experience you have dealing with money and using math skills. Like maybe you ran a lemonade stand over the summer or helped out with countingcollections at your place of worship. Being a cashier at a store, even for a short time, would make you a really strong candidate. If you were a girl or boy scout, those cookie sales would show you have the right skills! Most importantly, you need to be responsible, ethical, detail-oriented, and hardworking to be a good money person. Teachers will want to hire someone they can really trust with this crucial role of handling the school's funds. You have to be willing to follow rules to the letter and take the job super seriously. In my opinion, being the school's cashier sounds like a cool gig! You'd get to work in the nice air-conditioned office instead of being in a classroom all day. You'd learn awesome skills with money management andmath. And you'd get to be an important part of keeping our school running smoothly. Plus, I bet you'd get first dibs on any food or snacks that get sold to students and staff!Well, that's the full scoop on our opening for a cashier. If you are a student, parent, or community member who fits the bill, you should definitely apply! Just pick up an application from the front office. With a little bit of luck, you could be our new money person in no time!篇2Hiring a Cashier - An Important Job at My UniversityHi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. I go to Sunnyville Elementary School. Today I want to tell you all about a very important job opening at my big brother's university. They need to hire a new cashier to work in the student center cafeteria!A cashier is the person who works at the cash register when you go to a store or restaurant. Their job is to take your money or credit card when you want to pay for food, drinks, supplies or other things you buy. Cashiers have to be really good at math so they can count the right amount of change to give back to customers. They also have to be friendly and smiley so customers have a nice experience. At my brother's university, the cashier works in the big cafeteria where all the students go to buy their meals, snacks and drinks. It's a super important job because hundreds of hungry students need to pay for their food every day at lunchtime and dinnertime. If there wasn't a good cashier working, it would be total chaos with long lines and people getting impatient! The university is looking for a very responsible and hardworking person for this cashier position. Here are some of the main requirements they have:You have to be enrolled as a student at the university, so only university students can apply. No parents or teachers allowed! You must be really good at math. The cashier has to quickly add up totals and count back change accurately every time. No making mistakes! You have to be a friendly people person who smiles a lot. It's important for the cashiers to be welcoming and make customers feel happy about their experience. You can't be shy or afraid to interact with crowds, since there will be long lines of students waiting at peak times. You must be able to work quickly and efficiently, even when it's really busy and stressful with huge lunchtime rushes. You have to be responsible and trustworthy, because you'll be handling lots of cash and credit card payments all day. It's required that you can work several shifts per week, including some weekends, since the cafeteria is open for long hours. Those are the main things the university is looking for in their new cashier hire. It sounds like a really important job responsibility! I wouldn't want to be a cashier because I'm too little and bad at math. But I'm sure there are lots of responsible university students who would be perfect for this position. If you meet all the requirements and want to apply, you have to submit a resume along with a cover letter explaining why you'd be a good fit. The resume should list your previous job experiences like babysitting, tutoring, cashier jobs at stores, or any other work responsibilities that taught you customer service and money handling skills. In the cover letter, you need to really sell yourself and explain why you're the ideal person for this cashier role. Maybe you could say you're a "math whiz with a friendly smile" or an "energetic people-person with a strong work ethic." Definitely mention if you have any cashier or customer service experience from part-time jobs in the past. The interview process will be very important as well. If you get called for an interview, you'll need to dress professionally in nice clothes that look clean and neat. During the interview, give a firm handshake, make eye contact, speak clearly, and explainwhy you're the perfect person for this essential university cashier job.The cashier they hire will get a staff uniform to wear while working, which I think is pretty cool. You might get a neat visor or apron with the university's logo on it. The pay isn't too bad either from what I've heard. Apparently university cashiers can make decent hourly wages plus tips from all the hungry students!Well, that's about all I can explain about this very important cashier job opening at my brother's university. If you're a responsible student looking for a job on campus, this could definitely be a great opportunity. I wish I was old enough to apply myself, but hopefully this gives you all the details you need. Thanks for reading, and good luck to anyone going for the university cashier position!篇3Hi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. Today I want to tell you about an exciting job opportunity that my family business has. We are looking to hire a new cashier! My parents own a small convenience store in our neighborhood called Timmy's Treats. It's a really cool store thatsells all kinds of snacks, drinks, magazines, and other fun stuff. We are open every day from 7am to 9pm.The cashier's job is a very important one. They have to work behind the counter and help all the customers that come into the store. Whenever someone wants to buy something, the cashier uses the cash register to ring up their items and take payment.I think being a cashier would be a super fun job! You get to meet new people every day and make them smile when you hand them their purchases. My favorite part would probably be getting to know all the regulars - the neighbors who come in every morning for their coffee and newspaper. I'd learn their names and what they like to buy.Working at our store is kind of like being in a candy shop all day! You'd be surrounded by yummy treats and cold refreshing drinks. I'm not gonna lie, it can be really tempting to want to snack on everything. But a good cashier has to have self-control and only eat the snacks on their break time.Another fun part of the job is you get to play with the cash register. It's like a little machine that can open and close like a drawer. You pull it out, put the money in, and press the buttons to ring up the sale. Giving people their correct change is animportant responsibility that takes some math skills, but don't worry - they'll teach you how to do it.There are a couple not-so-fun parts of the job too that I should mention. One is that you have to stand up for your whole shift behind the counter. Your feet and legs can start to feel tired after a while. But the good news is you can lean against the counter to take some weight off.The other not-so-fun part is handling difficult customers if they are grumpy or rude. Some people can get impatient if there is a line or if you accidentally ring something up wrong. A good cashier needs to stay calm and polite even when a customer is being mean. Just kill them with kindness as my mom says!So those are some of the main things the cashier job is all about. To sum it up, here are the key responsibilities:Greet customers in a friendly way when they enter the storeOperate the cash register to ring up purchasesHandle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and make changeBag customers' items neatlyKeep the counter area clean and orderlyAsk customers if they want to buy store loyalty cards or sign up for promotionsRequest assistance from management if any issues ariseWe are looking to hire someone who is responsible, good with numbers, and has a positive attitude. You'll need to be able to work well under pressure when it gets busy. It's also important to look presentable in the company uniform and represent our brand well. The ideal candidate will be over 18 years old and available to work a rotating schedule of day, evening, and weekend shifts. Some cashier experience is preferred but not absolutely required since we will provide training. As long as you are eager to learn and a fast learner, we can teach you everything you need to know!In terms of pay and benefits, the starting cashier position pays 12 per hour. We also offer employees a 25% discount on store merchandise. There are opportunities to earn regular raises and advancement to a higher pay level through good performance reviews.Well, I've covered all the key details about the open cashier role. If this sounds like a job you would enjoy, I'd love for you toapply! You can pick up an application form directly at our store during business hours. Just ask my mom or dad for one at the counter.Thank you for considering our cashier position! I really hope we can find someone friendly and hard-working to join our team soon. Let me know if you have any other questions!篇4Job Advertisement for a CashierHi everyone! My name is Timmy and I'm in 5th grade. Today, I want to tell you all about a very important job opening at my school. We're looking to hire a new cashier for our school cafeteria! This is a super big deal because the cashier is one of the most important people in the whole school.First off, let me explain what a cashier does. The cashier is the friendly person who works at the cash register in the cafeteria during lunchtime. When you go through the lunch line and get your food, you have to pay for it. That's where the cashier comes in! They take your money or scan your lunch card and make sure you've paid the right amount.Without a good cashier, there would be total chaos in the cafeteria! Imagine if there was no one to collect the money -everyone would just take food for free. Or what if the cashier couldn't count the money properly? The school would lose out on a lot of lunch money. That's why we need to find the perfect person for this very important job.So what are we looking for in a new cafeteria cashier? First of all, they have to be really good with numbers and money. They need to be able to quickly add up totals and make change. No miscounting or mixing up quarters and dimes! The cashier also has to be super friendly and nice to everyone. At my school, we have over 500 kids, so the cashier has to greet each one with a smile, even if they're having a bad day themselves. The other thing that's really important is that the cashier has to be fast! We only have a short lunch period, and there's always a huge line of hungry kids waiting to pay. The cashier has to zip through the line quickly and accurately so nobody misses out on lunch. It's kind of like a race against the clock every day!Being a cashier might seem like a boring job to some people, but I think it's one of the most exciting roles in the whole school. Just imagine how powerful you'd feel, controlling all that money! You'd be like a bank teller, but even better because everyone has to come through your lunch line. Pretty cool, right?Of course, to get paid, the cashier does have to actually work. Their main duties would be:Operating the cash register computerAccepting cash, checking, and scanning lunch cards for paymentKeeping an accurate count of money in the register drawerGiving change and receipts to studentsBeing friendly and welcoming to every studentI think the lunch cashier might be my favorite staff member at school, besides my awesome teachers of course! They're right there in the middle of everything, interacting with everyone who comes through the line. It's like they're the captain of the lunch ship, steering things along and making sure all 500 kids can eat. While the job is lots of fun, it's also pretty hard work. The cashier has to pay close attention all day and handle money very carefully. One tiny mistake with the cash drawer and everything could be messed up. That's why we're going to hire only the most responsible, trustworthy person we can find for this position. If you know any adults who love working with kids, have sharp math skills, a sunny attitude, and don't mind being on their feet all day, please spread the word! We'll be accepting applications for the cashier job for the next few weeks. I'll be putting up flyers around the school and my mom is posting about it online too.I really, really hope we find the perfect new cashier soon. Our old one just retired last month, and the substitutes we've had so far have been pretty confused by all the lunch periods and chaos.I miss having a cashier who knows everyone's name and laughs at my jokes while ringing me up. Lunchtime just isn't the same without them!Well, that's all I have to say about the big cashier job opening for now. If you or an adult you know is interested, definitely apply! It's a really important role and we need a total superstar in that position. I'll make sure to give the new cashier a big welcome once they're hired. Having a friendly face behind the register makes lunchtime about a million times better for us kids!篇5Help Wanted! Our School Needs a Cash Keeper!Hi friends! My name is Timmy and I'm a 3rd grader at Sunnydale Elementary School. I have some really exciting news to share with you all today. Our wonderful school is looking to hire a new Cash Keeper! You might be wondering, "What's a Cash Keeper?" Well, let me tell you all about it.A Cash Keeper, which some grown-ups also call a "cashier", is a very important person at our school. Their main job is to take really good care of all the money that comes into the school. Whenever a family pays for things like lunch money, field trips, or buys fun school spirit gear, the Cash Keeper is the one who gets to handle that money. Now, you might be thinking that being a Cash Keeper sounds kind of boring. Just sitting around counting dollars and coins all day? No way! There's actually a whole lot more to this job that makes it super exciting.First off, our Cash Keeper gets their very own cool cash register machine! Can you imagine getting to press all those fun buttons and opening/closing that nifty cash drawer? It's like a real life game, but instead of scoring points, you get to make sure every penny is accounted for. Speaking of pennies, the Cash Keeper also gets to roll up all the coins into those paper cylinderwrapper thingies. Spinning the coins into perfect rolls is so satisfying! But being a stellar Cash Keeper means more than just playing with a cash register and rolling coins. You also need to be a math superstar! Our Cash Keeper has to make sure all the money received matches up perfectly with the receipts and amounts listed. That takes some serious adding, subtracting, and counting skills. If there are any mistakes, the Cash Keeper has to be a detective and figure out where that missing money went. Sounds like a fun challenge to me!Another big part of the Cash Keeper job is customer service. When families come to pay money, the Cash Keeper needs to greet them with a big smile and be extra polite and friendly. You have to make sure they feel welcome and happy about paying money to our amazing school. Being a terrific people-person is a must!Perhaps the most important skill for a Cash Keeper is being organized and responsible. After all, we're talking about real cash money here. It has to be kept safe and secure at all times. The Cash Keeper needs to make sure the money is counted accurately, kept locked up, and recorded properly. Losing even a single quarter could be a big problem! So now that I've told you all about what it means to be our school's Cash Keeper, I'm sure you can see why we need to find the perfect person for this job. We need someone who is:A math whiz who can add and count money like a proOrganized, responsible, and great at following rulesFriendly and excellent at customer serviceExcited to work a cash register and roll coinsAble to solve any missing money mysteriesDoes this sound like you or someone you know? If so, make sure to tell your parents all about this awesome job opportunity at Sunnydale Elementary! We're accepting applications immediately from any big kids or grown-ups in the community.Being the school Cash Keeper is a hugely important responsibility. But it also lets you be part of the action, helping our school run smoothly every single day. Just imagine how cool it would be to be the one in charge of keeping track of every penny!I sure hope we find the perfect person to take on this fun job soon. A school isn't the same without its trusty Cash Keeper. Thanks for reading, friends! Now go spread the word that Sunnydale Elementary is hiring!。
