向学生说明我们今天上课要讲的是如何寻求帮助和提供帮助的话题,然后我们要继续复习如何讲述正在发生的事情。

Ⅰ. General Introduction
This lesson is the new Standard English Book 12 Module 4 Unit 2.
This is a consolidation lesson. We do the action around target language. Ask the students to grasp two new vocabularies and train the languages. Have the students to use languages in the scene with the present simple continue tense. After learning, make the students to understand and can use the languages in the scene, improving them their ability of listening, speaking, reading and writing.
It‟s important for the students to use the present simple continue tense.

Ⅰ) Preparation
Make a scene.(Warming up. Review the content of last lesson.) Eg. S1: Oh dear ! I can‟t carry them all. The oranges are falling. Who can help me?
Ss: We can help you. / I can. / I will help you.
S2: Sorry, I can‟t. I‟m doing my homework.
Ⅱ) Presentation.
Teach the new words in the scene.
(scene1) T: Oh,dear! I can’t carry them all. The apples are falling down the stairs. Who can help me?
S2: We can help you.
(The students come to me and pick the apples. Then I write the theme.)
The teacher show the new word card “stairs”.
Teach the word and ask the students to spell the word one by one. Then ask them to read the title.
(Scene 2.) T: These bags are heavy.
S3: Can I help you?
T: Thank you.
Teach the new word “ heavy”.
Ask the students to make sentences.(These books are heavy./ …)
Show the students the picture . Ask the students to describe this scene.
Play the tape. Pausing after each utterance for class to repeat each one.
Work in groups.
Ⅲ) Practice.
Ask the students to look at the part2. …Act and say‟. Ensure that they understand this activity ,then do the action.

a.Learn the song “ Who can help me?”
b.Play a game.
Think of a word. Your friends can ask questions to guess it. You can only answer “ Yes” or “ No.”
