(l) as a matter of fact意为“事实上，其实”。
近义短语是in fact。

(2) 动词不定式to live作后置定语，修饰place。
动词不定式作定语时, 它与所修饰的词之间往往有动宾关系, 如果该动词是不及物动词, 或本身带有宾语, 后面须带适当的介词。
