本模块是承接第四模块复习的语法项目can 的用法,同时加以延伸,重点讲述自己的能力特别是语言能力,结合学生生活实际展开话题——通过介绍自己的情况来结识笔友或网友。

本模块分两个单元,第一单元重点学习如何与外国朋友交流,怎样与他们结交朋友或笔友以及can在讨论语言能力的用法,达到语言学习用于语言交际的目的。

学情分析小学六年级学生已经过三年《义务教育课程标准实验教科书》小学英语教科书合计六册的英语学习,普遍对英语已有一定的兴趣和初步的认识,同时已初步掌握can的用法;能用简单的英语互致问候、交换有关个人、家庭和朋友的简单信息,能根据所学内容表演小对话和歌谣,而且在图片的帮助下能听懂、读懂并讲述简单的故事,根据图片或提示能写简单的句子。

在英语学习中比较乐于了解外国的文化习俗和风土人情,乐于参与,积极合作,主动请教老师或英语学习优秀的学生。

尽管如此,由于受教学条件限制和一些主观原因,仍有一部分学生英语基础比较薄弱,主要表现在英语听力、朗读能力和表演能力上教学目标(一)知识与技能目标(1)、能够掌握词汇: pen friend, address(2)、理解并掌握句型:Pleased to meet you!Can I be your pen friend?Can you be my pen friend?Yes, of course.Sorry.This is my address.(3)、让学生会用英语表达自己的能力。

(4)、培养学生自主、合作的学习方式。

培养学生在活动中体会英语学习的乐趣,使他们在小组中积极与他人合作,相互帮助,共同完成任务。

3. 课文教学1)学习新词,并用新词造句。

帮助学生了解新词的含义,及实际运用。

2)使用动画、教学挂图和录音整体呈现SB活动1。

老师根据课文内容提出简单的问题,以便让学生从整体上了解故事大意,例如:“Who’s Laura? Where is Laura from? How many English friends has Daming got? Can Laura write Chinese? Can Daming write English? Can they be pen friends?”引导学生积极主动地进行探索式学习。
