预设难点:认读12个月份的名称,在对话中运用本课新授单词。
二、说教法和学法:任何一种外语教材在编写过程中都会形成一定的循环往复,但因为是外语学习,学习者有意识的外语积累会显得特别重要,而小学生因为诸多因素限制自行积累所学外语比较困难。
所以教师要利用好教材的同时,在设计教学过程中适时适量地进行滚动性教学,帮助学生不断地对新旧知识进行“滚雪球”,从而温故知新,联系所学知识、积累已有知识、巩固已学知识。
所以本课的学生对话中内容涉及本册第二单元季节及上册Unit4 What can you do?一些语言点。
同时,本课是单词新授课,英语单词音、形的教学,也就是单词读音、拼写的教学,一直是英语词汇教学中的一个重点,也是学生学习的一个难点。
突破这一重点、难点的利器是教会学生掌握拼读规则和构词规则。

【设计意图】有节奏的歌谣可以调动同学主动性,吸引同学的留意力,使同学自然进入英语学习状态。
2、Free talk【设计意图】口语相互沟通是英语课堂必不少的部分,通过师生会话,拉近师生距离,渲染和谐温馨的课堂气氛,并为下步学习做好铺垫。

一、说课程标准。
新英语课程标准指出,基础教育阶段英语课程的总体目标是培养学生的综合语言运用能力。
而综合语言运用能力又以学生语言技能、语言知识、情感态度、学习策略和文化意识五个方面的综合素养为基础。
《新课标》倡导任务型教学模式,即让学生在教学活动中参与和完成真实的教学任务,从中体验学习的快乐。
因此我采用“任务——探究——创造”型教学方法,让学生在有趣,开放式的语言环境中,学会观察,思考,讨论和总结,在“用”中发展思维能力、创新意识和各种语言应用能力。
二、说教材。

二、说目标本课为第三单元第一课时内容,在第二单元四季的基础上,就12个月份进行四季划分,要求学生能听、说、认、读12个月份的名称并能书写其缩写形式,能够使用句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in、、、调查班级或小组内同学的生日,意在让学生在情境中学会应用,从而使英语学习有趣且富有意义。
教学重难点:能够听说认读12个月份的名称并能书写其缩写形式;能够运用句型:When is your birthday? My birthday is in、、、教学难点:January,February的读音,12个月份中文与英语单词的对应。
三、说教法(教学设计)英语是一门语言学科,语言的本质是言语。
外语教学应当遵循听、说、读、写的原则。
在小学英语教学中,听说有着重要的意义,但同时要兼顾理解和记忆。
处在这一年龄段的学生,形象思维占优势,抽象思维处于初级发展阶段;记忆又存在这样的特点:记得快,忘得也快。
为了顺利完成以上的教学目标,更好的突出重点,突破难点,按照学生的认识规律,通过学生已知的季节,我直接将12个月份划分成四个季节,每个季节三个月份,这样学起来感觉不是那么复杂,为了不使学习感到枯燥无味,教师采用多种教学手段,如多媒体电化教学比较形象、直观在教学过程中启发、引导学生思维,培养不同层次的学生大胆用英语交际的能力,引导学生采用听、看、读、说的方法来学习本课。
语言是一种交际工具,小学阶段的英语教学又侧重于口语。
为了帮助学生掌握和运用这些句子,培养学生敢于开口,积极实践的良好学习习惯。
