【设计理念】本堂课从学生的实际生活经验出发,结合学生的认知水平,创设情境,从提出问题,遇到问题到解决问题,引导学生在真实情境中学习交际用语。

【内容简析】本堂课为听说课,主要学习如何打电话,通过创设情境使学生掌握打电话的习惯用语。

【学情简析】本堂课的教学对象为财会专业的学生。

他们英语基础中等,学习认真,但多数学生性格比较内向。

【教学目标】
1. 认知目标:学生掌握关于打电话的相关词组和功能句型,如take a message, “Can/May
I speak to…?”“This is … speaking.”“…isn’t in at the moment/now.”“M ay I take a message?”
“Hold on, please.”等。

2.能力目标: 学生能够听懂打电话的对话,同时记下有用的功能句型;学生能够运用所掌
握的功能句型进行打电话的对话活动。

3.情感目标:学生通过课堂的学习,能够了解打电话的基本礼仪,并积极与同学合作。

【重点难点】
1.重点:学生能够听懂有关打电话的对话,并能够说出所学句型。

2.难点:学生能够运用所学表演打电话的对话。

【教学方法及策略】
1.采用情景、任务型教学法。

2.采用由浅入深,循序渐进的教学策略。

【教学过程】
Step one: Lead-in
1.Greeting
2.Show some pictures on ppt and ask Ss, “What are they doing?”
3.It seems that telephones especially cell phones are all around us. No matter you are
old ,young, male or female, you use them. But do you know how to call others in English? (设计意图:用男女老少打电话的生活照导入,简洁切入主题。


Step two: Make a telephone call I
1. If you (Tang Hua) call Wang Yang to play basketball with you at school this afternoon,
and he answers phone, what will you say?
2. Invite one or two groups of Ss to present their conversations and ask other Ss to find out
if there are any mistakes and list the useful sentence sturctures on the Bb.
The useful sentence structures may be:
Hello/Hi! This is…Can/May I speak to…?/Is that…?
Speaking./This is …
4.Ask another group of Ss to make the telephone call.
(设计意图:拿学生非常熟悉的生活场景做例子,让学生通过实践、对比,发现问题,并学着解决问题,不仅加深对重点句型的记忆,而且为下一步的听力做了准备。


Step three: Make a telephone call II
1. You played basketball very happily, so you call Wang Yang again the next day. Then what
happens? Let’s listen and choose the right answer.
The phone call is between _______.
a.Tang Hua and her father
b.Tang Hua and Wang Yang
c.Tang Hua and Wang Yang’s father
2 Read after the tape sentence by sentence and find out how Wang Yang’s father answers
Tang Hua.
List the useful sentence structures:
This is … speaking. …isn’t in at the moment/now.
May I take a message?
All right, I’ll tell him/her.
3.Read the dialogue role by role.
4.Two Ss one group to make up a similar dialogue and ask some to present their dialogues. (设计意图:锻炼学生通过听力材料获取关键信息的能力;培养对电话用语的敏感度,强化重点句型的记忆,为之后的活动做好铺垫。


Step four: Make a telephone call III
1.Since Wang Yang isn’t at home, you want to invite Xiaonian and Sara to play badminton
at school. And now you are calling… Let’s listen and choose the right answer.
The phone call is between ________.
a.Tang Hua and Xiao nian
b.Tang Hua and Sara
c.Tang Hua, Xiao nian and Sara
2.Listen to the dialogue again and fill in the blanks.
Tang Hua: Hello! This is Tang Hua. _________________
Sara’s roommate: ________________
A moment later.
Sara: Hello!________________
Tang Hua: Hi, Sara. _________________ What are you doing now?
Sara: I’m washing my clothes. ________________
Tang Hua; I’m playing badminton with Xiaonian at school.
Sara: Oh! I like playing badminton best.
Tang Hua: ________________
Sara: Of course! I’ll come soon!
Tang Hua: Good! ________________

3.Act out.
Divide Ss into groups and ask them to act out.
Ask Ss to pay attention to their pronunciation, words/expressions and body language. (设计意图:实战演练,既能通过反复练习帮助学生巩固重点句型,又能加强学生之间的合作能力。


Step five: Consolidation
1.Go over the sentence structures about making a telephone call.
2.Some emergency telephone number

3. Enjoy a short video “Knot and Watt” to have a relax and help them to learn good manners
when making a phone call.
(设计意图:通过回顾本节课的重点句型,帮助学生巩固所学知识,明确本节课的重点;利用学生自拍的视频引导学生学习正确的电话礼仪。


Step six: Homework
1. Go over all the words and sentence structures.
2. Role-play: Make a telephone call with your parents
Situation 1. You will go shopping with your classmates on Friday afternoon, and you’ll go home at about 6p.m.
2. You’ve had a bad cold and need your parents to take your home.
3. You’re going to a nursing home(老人院)with your classmates this weekend, and
you can't go home then.
(设计意图:作业由易到难,循序渐进,满足不同学生的要求;角色扮演设置了学生常见的生活场景,既避免了学生草草两句,应付作业的情况,又将课本内容与生活实际结合起来,使英语学习生活化、实用化。
