审计实习日记
Day 1:
Today was my first day of my auditing internship, and I was excited to get started. I met with my supervisor and received an overview of the audit process and my responsibilities. I spent most of the day familiarizing myself with the company's financial documents and software systems. I also shadowed a senior auditor as they conducted a preliminary review of the financial statements.
Day 2:
Today, I had the opportunity to conduct some initial audit testing with guidance from my supervisor. I learned how to calculate financial ratios, review supporting documents, and document my findings in the audit workpapers. I also attended a team meeting to discuss the progress of the audit and any issues that needed to be addressed.
Day 3:
Today, I worked on testing internal controls and identifying any weaknesses in the company's financial reporting process. I assisted in documenting the controls and discussing potential recommendations for improvement with the audit team. I also had the chance to speak with the client's accounting staff to clarify any discrepancies I found during my testing.
Day 4:
Today, I worked on auditing revenue and expenses for the company. I reviewed invoices, bank statements, and other financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness. I compared the financial data to the budget and prior year's figures to identify any fluctuations that needed further investigation. I also participated in a training session on auditing ethical behavior in the workplace.
Day 5:
Today was my last day of the auditing internship, and I wrapped up my work on the audit of the company. I finalized my audit workpapers, wrote a report of my findings, and presented my conclusions to the audit team. I also received feedback from my supervisor on my performance during the internship. Overall, it was a valuable experience, and I learned a lot about the auditing process and the importance of attention to detail in financial reporting.。
