学生普遍动手能力比动口能力强,尤其是对于天安门广场的坐标建筑物名称,对于大多数学生来说,难度很大而且还略显枯燥;方位词和方位介词,学生大部分都已经接触过,用法和解题于他们并无难度。
三.重点难点
Key points and difficult points:
1.Enable the Ss to master the words of directions and preposition and their usage;
2.Enable the Ss to read and say the names of the buildings on Tian’anmen Square;
3.Enable the Ss to introduce Tian’anmen Square in their own words;
4.Foster the Ss’ pride of the Chinese nation, develop their love for the motherland and hometown.四.教学过程
4.1 第一学时
活动任务1【导入】Lead-in
Show pictures of beautiful sceneries in China and the world along with the song: 9 million bicycles in Beijing.Teacher: Do you like them? Yeah, they are so beautiful. The world is so big, I want to have a look. Would you like to go with me? OK. First, I'd like to take you to a great place in China.
活动任务2【活动】Warm-up Activity1
Activity 1: Learn the words of directions: north, south, east, west, northeast, northwest, southeast, southwest etc.
活动任务3【活动】Warm-up Activity2
Activity 2: Learn the 3 prepositions (in, on, to) and their usage. Do some exercises for consolidation.活动任务4【讲授】Get to know the places!
Activity 3: Get to know the spots, the names of the 5 great buildings in Tian’anmen Square as well as their position. the Monument to the People’s Heroes (in the center) Tian’anmen Rostrum (in the north) Chairman Mao Memorial Hall (in the south) National Museum (in the east) Great Hall of the People (in the west)Use photos and the map to make sentences for consolidation, finish 3b and check the answers.

Travel timeTravel Tian’anmen Square.
Spot 1: Monument to the People’s Heroes
Spot 2: National Museum
Spot 3: Tian’anmen Rostrum
Spot 4: The Great Hall of People
Spot 5: Chairman Mao Memorial Hall For each spot, besides the pictures, the students will get its introduction by ears. And the introduction is cut clips from 1a and 2. Also, students should complete the information of each spot according to the brief introduction.

1: Guiding time Ask the students to be a tour guide to introduce interesting places in our hometown to the guests, and of course, use what we learnt today: Spot 1: Mount Heng in Nanyue Spot 2: Luo Ronghuan Memorial in Ronghuan Spot 3: Gesang Flowers Garden in Xintang

1: Summary Use the following questions to lead the students to go over what they learn in this lesson: Where did we visit? What did we see there? Where are they?Step 6: 2.Homework
