Unit1 He can’t see.
1.Topic: He can’t see.
2.Lesson plan background: The teaching design, popularly says, is to the
teaching aim, teaching content, teaching methods and teaching strategies, teaching evaluation, which specific plan, to establish the system of teaching process and procedure of activities, so as to promote students' learning. The teaching design is the 1950s gradually later developed education sciences.
3.The analysis of the lesson.
Amy and Lingling are watching TV at home. They pay attention to the programs which is about the dogs. Then this program talks about the use of dogs in our daily life. Can the dogs help the human beings?
4.Teaching aims.
Knowledge aim: Try to make the students listen, speak and read the
text.
Learn the new words and new sentences.
Ability aim: Put the sentence into practice.
Emotional aim: Make friends with dogs and cats which are our honest
friends. They will help us a lot.
5.Teaching methods.
Task-based teaching methods.
Group work teaching methods.
6.Teaching procedures
Step 1 Warming up
Greet to the whole class.
T: Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, teacher.
Step 2 Lead in
Teacher will take out a pencil and a pen asking “Pens are useful.
Pencils are very useful, too. Do you know other kinds of things?”
Teachers will bring students into a broad horizon to have their thoughts and at last pay attention to the animals.
Step 3 New teaching
1.Listen to the tape and tick out the new words when they are
listening then read them out.
2.Listen to the tape again and answer the questions as quickly as you
can.
A.What’s the program about?
B.Does the dog help the blind man?
C.Do these dogs help firemen find people?
D.Can they have a dog?
3.Listen to the tape the third time and read the passage out loudly.
Step 4 Role play
I will set a screen in the class. Now there is a student acting as the blind man. And then there is another one acting as the dog which helps the blind man go across the road. Then the rest students act as the presenter.
He is a blind man. He can’t see.
The dog helps him.
Then the other group acts the other screen out. One acts as a deaf girl, while the other acts as the dog which helps the girl to open the door.
This girl is deaf. She can’t hear.
The dog helps her.
The last one is that Daming’s home is on fire. Three or four students act as the firemen while the other one acts as the dog to help them to look for human who are at home.
These firemen can’t find people.
These dogs help them.
Step 5 Homework
Describe the use of dogs in English with your desk mates
7. Teaching Reflection.
This lesson emphasizes on the language and study through practice. Other emphasizes on the arrangement of the teaching material and the main status of the students.
