My Hometown -Heshan

Heshan, a county-level city administered by Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, is located in the hinterland of the the Pearl River Delta in the south of Guangdong Province, and is one of the famous hometown of overseas Chinese in China. Heshan was established as a county in the tenth year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1732), named after a mountain in the city resembling a crane.

Heshan has a pleasant climate, spring like all seasons, and beautiful scenery. It has developed tourist attractions such as Dayan Mountain Scenic Area, Xianhe Lake, Crab Eye Spring, Heding Pavilion, Gulou Water Township, as well as tourist resorts and cultural landscapes such as Dongpo Pavilion, Tiefu Painting Pavilion, and Da'ao Guandi Temple.

Heshan has a long history and a good traditional cuisine culture.

Heshan not only has unique cuisine such as Nandong Chicken, Tea Mountain Water Soaked Chicken, Hecheng Pit Snail, Longkou Dog Meat, and Shengping Bamboo Noodles, but also has specialties such as Heshan Tea, Gulao Silver Needle, Maltese Mountain Tea, and Tea Mountain Jasmine. The catering industry in Heshan is currently showing a thriving trend, with holiday and tourism catering thriving.
