-Where is the...?
-It’s on/behind/between...and.../across from/next to...
(设计意图:听力前读图,一是为了再次巩固生词,二是为后面的听力做好了准备,这样可以帮助学生更好地达成听力要求。


Step 4: Listening
1. 听录音,要求学生写出正确的A、B两个公共场所单词,如果单词较长,可速记部分字母或关键词。

3. 跟读录音,模仿语音语调。

(设计意图:由于听前活动为听力练习做了充分的准备,同时注意了对听前读图、听中速记关键词的学习策略的培养,学生能比较轻松地完成听力练习。

注意在核对答案时引导学生用英语交流,词不离句,句不离境,培养学生良好的用英语交流的习惯。


观察与思考
1c中的对话中出现了几个指路的句子,你能说说他们的汉语意思吗?
1. Just go along Bridge Street and turn left when you see the library.
2. Go along Long Street and it’s on the right.
3. Turn right at the first crossing and the restaurant is on your left, across from the pay phone.
我们发现在指路时除了使用方位词,还要用到几个常见的动词词组:,left,right at the first 等。

Step 5: Speaking
1. 分角色朗读1c对话,
2. 看1b图片,假设你们是图片中的两人,身在某个公共场所,准备去另一个公共场所,模仿1c对话:

Step 6: Practice
你想去英语老师家做客吗?观察贴在黑板上的路线图,谁能最准确最快地描述去老师家的路线,谁就可以在周末去老师家做客。

(设计意图:通过互动交流的方式复习目标词汇,达到学以致用的目的。

同时,学生自己评价自己的事物,表达感受,可以培养他们学习英语的信心,激发学习的愿望。

【教学反思】
本课主要内容是将本课语言目标用于交际活动而进行知识拓展,即在前两课简单的问路指路话题基础上学习远距离指路,具体就是学习左右转和直走这几个短语和相关句型。

视频、动作、角色扮演等教学活动吸引了学生的注意力,提高了学生的积极性。
