一、教学目标
1、知识与技能:
掌握一定的构词法,能拼写并正确运用与自然灾难有关的experience, cause, bury,…等9
个重要单词,并能利用相关词汇和短语对地震造成的危害进行描述。
2、过程与方法:
授课过程重在培养学生自主学习、小组合作和探究能力,以地震为主线,充分创设情景,利用多媒体技术辅助措施,帮助学生掌握构词法、重点词汇用法及描述地震造成的危害。
3、情感态度与价值观:
通过本模块的学习,可以使学生了解自然灾害的危害,努力学习,打好基础,为人类造福,并能有在灾难面前保护自己、帮助别人的意识。
二、教学重难点
重点--掌握构词法,能拼写并正确运用与自然灾难有关的experience, cause, bury,…等9 个重要单词。
难点--能运用所学词汇及短语对地震造成的危害进行描述。

本节课总体设计思路和意图
本节词汇课以本模块话题自然灾难中的地震为主线,注重词汇的情境设计,从词汇的听读、到构词、用单词的正确形式填空、听写重点词汇到总结重点词汇用法,再到翻译句子练习、相关话题讨论及配套词汇练习等,注重了词汇的语音、词汇、词汇的语法运用以及所学功能意念和话题方面的训练,并且注重了学生英语的听说读写能力的培养。
所以本节词汇课的设计意图是既能帮助同学们夯实基础,又能着眼高考,提高学生
的综合能力,同时又注重了对学生的情感教育,让学生学会在灾难面前自我保护、帮助别人。
