VEGF在脑胶质瘤中的表达及其与预后的关系

【摘要】[目的]研究血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)在脑胶质瘤中的表达及与肿瘤恶性程度及预后的关系.[方法]应用免疫组化方法检测120例脑胶质瘤标本中VEGF表达,并结合临床资料进行统计学分析.[结果]VEGF的表达在低级别组(Ⅰ～Ⅱ级)与高级别组(Ⅲ～Ⅳ级)之间存在显著差异(P＜0.05)；单因素预后分析显示VEGF的表达与患者的术后总生存期(OS)及无进展生存期(PFS)相关(P＜0.05),VEGF的高表达预示较短的OS和PFS；多因素COX比例风险回归模型分析显示VEGF是独立的不良预后的危险因素.[结论]VEGF在脑胶质瘤中的表达与肿瘤的病理分级有关,而且是脑胶质瘤预后的不利因素.%[Objective] To explore the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in glioma and its correlation with tumor malignant degree and prognosis. [Methods] The expression of VEGF in 120 specimens of glioma was detected by immunohistochemistry method. Clinical data was analyzed statistically. [Results]There was significant difference in the expression of VEGF between low grade( Ⅰ ～Ⅱ ) group and high grade( Ⅲ ～Ⅳ) group( P <0. 05). Univariate analysis showed tha t the expression of VEGF was correlated with postoperative overall survival(OS) and progression-free survival of patients( P <0. 05). High expression of VEGF suggested the short OS and PFS. Multivariate COX proportional hazard regression model analysis showed that VEGF was an
independent poor prognostic factor. [Conclusion] The expression of VEGF in glioma is related to the pathologic grade of tumor, and may be a poor prognostic factor of glioma.
