What’s he doing?这节课是外研社新标准英语一年级起点第四册第四模块的内容，本节课是一节会话课，在一年的英语学习基础之上，以及前三个模块对于现在尽心事态的学习和感知之后，这一节课主要是让孩子理解、感知、并学会用What’s he doing? He’s…/ What’s she doing? She’s…/ What are they doing? They are…句型描述其它人的活动。这些内容内容的学习，不要求老师做理论的讲解，更不要求孩子们孤立地、脱离语境的机械性的掌握。只是通过初步学会在恰当的语境中运用包含这些语法的句子。为以后孩子学习阅读、写作奠定坚实的基础。

学情分析：
doing...的特点在于性格比较活泼，思维活跃，喜欢歌曲，游戏等丰富的课堂形式，愿意参与到课堂的表演等多类形式。同时，前期的学习已经掌握了be doing的结构，能够表达“What are you doing?”和“I am doing...”,play football, play basketball等类与生活相关的活动，可以进行基本的对话。
教学重点：
通过文本理解词汇five- stones, behind , hide –and –seek.，通过教学活动理解并掌握-Where’s he doing there? – He’s playing hide-and-seek的读音以及语调。
教学难点：
通过对文本的学习，学生能够正确掌握句型“Where are Lingling and Amy? 和What’s he doing there? 并且能够在真实的语境中正确的运用以上两个句型进行自由的对话。这是本节课的难点。
