Finish的用法
及物动词 vt.
1. 终止;完成[+v-ing]
When does he finish his college course?
他何时大学毕业?
I haven't finished reading the book yet.
我还没读完这本书。

2.对...最后加工,修饰[(+off)]
We'll finish our new home today and move in tomorrow. 咱们今天对新居作最后修饰,明天就搬进去。

3. 用完;吃完[(+off/up)]
The boys finished up everything on the table.
男小孩们把桌上的东西吃得精光。

Let's finish off the wine.
咱们把酒喝完吧。

Mr. Smith finished his tea in very low spirits.
史密斯先生忧心忡忡地喝完了茶。

4. 【口】耗尽;毁掉;消灭;击败[(+off)]
The climb nearly finished me off.

fun和funny的运用有何不同
fun 在通常利用中，一样是名词形式；可是作为形容词（专门情形下）是利用其动名词做形容词的。

事实上，fun是动词或名词。

funny在通常情形下是形容词的词性，专门情形译作“连环图画”时是名词形式。

fun只能是名词，funny本来确实是形容词
fun若是放在名词前面，确实是名词作形容词的用法
fun大多做名词，较少作形容词和动词。

fun 成心思，有趣；
作形容词时，若是需要用到比较级或最高级意思，可用more fun, the most fun，如This is the most fun part of the town，可是fun本身没有比较级或最高级。

funny比较突出“奇怪的，好笑的”的含义，带有必然程度的贬义。

比较级funnier，最高级the funniest
fun 做形容词用的时候要紧突出一个含义“供娱乐用的”，强调娱乐性。

其比较级和最高级是直接加more 或most。

仍是做名词的时候较多，有惯用搭配“for fun”.
funny要紧突出其“滑稽的”“奇异的”这些含义。

它的比较级和最高级是变y 为i再加er或est. funny ：滑稽，弄笑，好笑。

一、fun 偏指愉快的
We had a fun night in the club.

二、funny 偏指有趣的(事物)

另外， fun 要紧词性是名词，为“乐趣”。

如have fun。
