Gmat- 句⾸⽐较词
1）unlike、like 放句⾸，⽐较对象必须对等。

不⼀定是形式上对等，最重要的是语义上市对等的。

举很多栗⼦：下⾯都是like 或unlike⽐较难发现的平⾏。

A选项中⼼词是sandpepers，vanishing修饰pipers，所以为复数，后⾯谓语动词单数不对，所以只能是B选项。

2）contrary to 后⾯⼀般接抽象名词 ideas，opinions，actions，不需要考虑逻辑主语，后⾯句⼦解释为什么contrary to。

3）in contrast with 要求⽐较对象完全平⾏，抽象，具体名词均可
4）similar to，different from不放在句⾸
5）whereas 不⽤考虑完全平⾏。

OG中的⼀道题：
Over 75 percent of the energy produced in France derives from nuclear power, while in Germany it is just over 33 percent.
A. while in Germany it is just over 33 percent
B. compared to Germany, which uses just over 33 percent
C. whereas nuclear power accounts for just over 33 percent of the energy produced in Germany

这⾥whereas⽐较的不是两个名词，严格平⾏的名词，⽽⽐较的核⼼的事件，什么事⼉呢，就是法国的75%energy来⾃nuclear power，德国只有33%。

6）just as A do, so B do
as with不对，但是可以说as is the case with
as 不能⽤like whereas代替，like so是不对的，应该去掉so⽐较
just as with 和 just like都是不对的
以下五种形式是as做连词的⽐较

Just as … , so … Just as you sow, so you will reap 主从句要尽量形式对称
Just as … , as … Just as you sow, as you will reap 主从句要尽量形式对称

注意： A is to B what C is to D = What C is to D, that is A is to B = Just as A is to B, so C is to D。
