It’s been a long time since we last see each other. How is everything going on with you? Living in a foreign country must be quite different from here. Have you got used to everything?
I can still remember the happy days when we were at school. We used to be best friends. Our moniter told me a few days ago that we are going to have a classmates’meeting on the New Years Day. Nearly all the friends are going to come.Missing you terribly, we really hope you can come back to spend some time with us. It will be great if you can attend.We may talk about the old days and at the mere thought of it i get particularly excited. It has just been one year since our graduation but i feel as if we have been apart for a century. Sometimes i do feel i have grown old in this year, as old as a man who need a walking-stick to help his daily life. Anxious to see you all.

One Sunday morning Xiao Li and her father went to the People’s Park together. Walking around the park, they found a girl crying by a road. They went up to her, asking what her name was and where she lived. But the girl knew nothing about it. So they had to send her to the police station of the park, where she was taken good care of. The news of the lost girl was broadcast in no time. After some time in came the parents of the girl. They were excited to see their child and expressed their thanks to Xiao Li and her father. Then they said good-bye to each other.
One day three men got a bottle of wine. But the wine was not enough for the three and each of them wanted to drink the wine alone. Then they all agreed that they each would draw a snake on the ground and the one who first finished drawing would be given the wine. So they began to draw on the ground with sticks.
It was not long before one of the three finished drawing his snake. He took up the bottle of wine with pride. He was about to drink when he found the other two were still busy with their drawings. “How slow you are!” said he, “I can even add feet to my snake before you finish yours.” He put down the bottle and began to add feet to his snake. But before he finished, another man took hold of the bottle and said ,“I’ve finished. Snakes have no feet, so yours is not a snake.” With these words he drank up the wine.
How to Solve the Problem of Heavy Traffic?
Nowadays, people in many big cities are complaining about the heavy traffic. It has seriously influenced people’s daily life and economic development. To solve the problem, some pieces of advice are put forward. Some people suggest that more streets and roads should be built. In this way,
the traffic density can be redncedi hence speeding up the flow of buses and cars.But the new roads and streets will be filled with many cars and buses soon.
Some people advise to limit the number of bikes and cars. This can decrease the traffic flow. But on the other haad, this will affect the consumption and make buses more crowded.
In my opinion, the number of private cars should be put under control. And at the same time, buses should have their own special routes which cannot be used by other vehicles. Besides, underground train and city train should be developed quickly. ( 151 words)
怎样解决交通拥挤问题
现今，许多大城市的人们都在抱怨交通拥堵。

它已经严重地影响了人们的日常生活和经济发展。

为了解决这个问题，人们提出了一些建议。

有人建议修建更多的道路。

通过这种方法，可以减小交通密度，因此公共汽车与小汽车的速度就可以提上来。

但是不久，新的道路又将被更多的公共汽车与小汽车所塞满。

有人建议限制自行车和汽车的数量，这可以减少交通的流量。

但是另一方面，这会影响消费并使公共汽车更加拥挤。

我认为，应该控制私家车的数量。

同时，公共汽车应该有自己的线路，这些线路不能被其它交通工具所占用。

此外，应快速发展地铁和城市铁路。
