Our Trip to Suzhou
Suzhou, a city renowned for its classical gardens, ancient canals, and exquisite silk, has always been a dream destination for us. Finally, we embarked on this wonderful journey.
As soon as we arrived in Suzhou, we were greeted the charming scenery. The old town was like a living history book, with narrow alleys paved with bluestone slabs and traditional houses with white walls and black tiles. We strolled along the canals, listening to the gentle lapping of the water and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the classical gardens. The Garden of Master of Nets was a masterpiece of landscape design. Every detl, from the rockeries to the ponds, from the pavilions to the corridors, was meticulously crafted and exuded an elegant charm. We couldn't help but admire the wisdom and artistry of the ancient gardeners.
Another unforgettable experience was trying the local cuisine. The sweet and savory松鼠桂鱼, the delicate steamed dumplings, and the fragrant green tea left a lasting impression on our taste buds.
During our stay in Suzhou, we also visited some historical sites and museums, learning about the rich cultural heritage of this city. We were deeply moved the stories and traditions passed down through generations.
