碰撞测试 Intersection Detection

汽车结构设计的是否合理，被动安全是否完善、到位，只有通过碰撞测试方能见分晓。

做碰撞测试的评测机构，目前在我国、欧洲、日本、美国和澳大利亚具备，英文简称是NCAP(New Car Assessment Program）。

测试内容主要有正面和侧面碰撞。

正面碰撞时速为64公里，侧面碰撞时速为50公里。

碰撞测试成绩则由星级表示，共有五个星级，星级越高表示该车的碰撞安全性能越好。
